About This Pub
Ah, The Jesse Boot in Beeston – it's one of those classic pubs that really captures the heart of a local night out in Nottingham. From what I've gathered from folks who've been, it's brilliant for grabbing an affordable pint and settling in for the footy or rugby on the big screens; there's always a lively buzz with games like pool and darts to join in on, and that beer garden is a real gem for a cheeky outdoor session when the weather's playing ball. The staff can be absolute legends too, stepping in to sort things out when needed, which makes you feel looked after. On the downside, it's not without its flaws – some mates have mentioned the service can drag a bit, with bar staff getting sidetracked, and the atmosphere might lean towards a more opinionated crowd that isn't to everyone's taste. Still, if you're after an honest, no-frills spot for a laugh with friends, it's worth a punt; just go in with realistic expectations for a balanced evening.

-
A lovely beer garden that's ideal for soaking up the sun with a cold pint in hand.

Cons
-
Service can be a bit hit or miss at times, with staff occasionally more focused on other tasks than serving you promptly.
-
The crowd might feel a tad cliquey or rowdy in places, which could put off those after a more relaxed setting.

Some feedback mentions issues like smoking in certain areas, which isn't everyone's idea of a pleasant pub experience.
-
As a local favourite, it might not always feel inclusive if you're not a regular face around there.

Great place. I am writing this review because they helped me out.
I was nearby, depositing cash on atm when a drunken guy started shouting at me gibberish and threatening me with violence . I quickly ran to this place and the bouncers let me in. Not only the place protected me, but the barmaid gave me free cola after hearing what happened.
These fellas deserve 5 stars for this, least I can do.
The best pub in the whole of Nottingham, darts, pool, footy, cheap pints, karaoke it's the GOAT
Fantastic boozer full of brilliant people. I came here a year ago while visiting a friend in uni and went here to watch the Liverpool match. A lovely bloke bought us a pint to cheer us up. Good memories.
Oh dear. Local pub for local people.
The Brexit gammons in the corner smoking their vaps, moaning about foreners [sic] being tolerated by the staff, who will ignore you at the bar and collect glasses instead of serving you.
It's cheap. But really? Is it worth it?
Beeston has so many good pubs. This isn't one of them
Always a popular and lively place, with very reasonably priced drinks and a good selection on tap. Plenty of seating both inside and outside, 1 bar, 1 pool table, a few TV's showing the sport, 1 darts and some slot machines.
