About This Pub
Ah, let me tell you about The House Restaurant in Finchley – it's one of those places that just hits the spot for a proper sit-down meal. From what I've gathered from the reviews and their own vibe, the food is spot on; think tasty Italian classics like pepperoni pizza and garlic bread, all with generous portions that make you feel like you've had a proper feed. The atmosphere is lovely and cosy, ideal for catching up over a glass of wine or celebrating something special, and the staff really go the extra mile – they're attentive and friendly without hovering, which is just what you want on a night out. It's clear they've put effort into keeping things safe and hygienic too, which gives you peace of mind. On the flip side, the wine list might stretch your wallet a bit, so it's worth keeping an eye on that if you're watching the pennies. Overall, it's a solid choice for anyone in the area looking for reliable, enjoyable dining – I'd say give it a try if you're up for something a bit more relaxed and flavoursome.
Pros and Cons

-
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for a cosy evening out or special occasions, with a relaxing vibe and nice background music that makes you want to linger.
-
Service is top-notch; the staff are incredibly attentive and kind, always anticipating needs without being overbearing, which really enhances the whole experience.
-
They've got a great wine selection, even if it's a bit on the premium side, and it's a solid spot for events like business dinners or celebrations where you want everything to feel special.
Cons
-
The wine can be a tad pricey, which might put a dent in the budget if you're planning a night out with a few glasses.
-
It might not be the busiest spot all the time, so if you're after a lively, buzzing atmosphere on quieter evenings, it could feel a bit subdued.

Nice restaurant with good food and well sized portions. The mashed potatoes were particularly good.
The House restaurant has a beautiful ambience, Adel was very kind and helpful, the food was delicious, music was nice. They have a nice wine selection as well. I definitely suggest.
A lovely restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere. The service was excellent and Sam was great. Delicious food. Would highly recommend and return again. The only criticism is that the wine is a little pricey.
Such cosy, lovely place with great tasting Italian food and absolutely amazing stuff. The waitress is incredibly attentive and anticipating our every need but in non-intrusive way. We were impressed. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. We definitely will be visiting again soon.
We went to this restaurant for Sunday dinner. It wasn't busy, so the service was quick. The waiter was very kind. We ordered garlic bread, pepperoni pizza and quattro formaggi. The dough was thin. Overally the dishes were tasty. After we finished the meal the waiter offerd some ice cream to my daughter. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was nice. I recommend it!
