About This Pub
You know, I had a wander into The Holly Bush the other week, and it's got that proper cosy pub feel that's hard to beat in Rugby. The folks behind the bar are absolute gems – always up for a chat and making you feel welcome, which really sets the tone for a relaxed evening. I loved the beer garden; it's a cracking spot to catch up with mates on a sunny afternoon, and the prices are spot on, so you can have a few without breaking the bank. They've got a decent range of spirits and draughts too, which is perfect if you're after something straightforward. But, let's be honest, it's not all roses – they've ditched the food menu, which is a bit of a letdown if you're peckish, and the pool table's looking a bit worse for wear, so skip that if you're planning a game. Service can be hit or miss; you might find yourself waiting around, and the ale choices are pretty basic, nothing to write home about. Still, with its welcoming atmosphere and space for groups, it's worth popping in if you're local – just go in with realistic expectations and you'll likely have a good time.
Pros and Cons

The beer garden is a lovely spot, perfect for soaking up the sun with friends after a long day.

There's plenty of space inside for larger groups, making it easy to gather and have a laugh.
Cons
-
They've stopped serving food altogether, which is a real shame if you're after a bite with your drink.
-
The pool table's in a bit of a state, so it's not ideal if you're hoping for a proper game.
-
Service can be a tad inconsistent – sometimes you wait ages for a round, which puts a dampener on things.
-
The ale selection is mostly standard and not very exciting, so it might not thrill the beer enthusiasts.
-
There have been reports of staff disagreements that can spoil the atmosphere on occasion.

David and his team are so friendly and welcoming recentley moved to the area and never felt so welcome in a pub friendly welcome and service with a smile with a good selection of spirits and draught we will be back next week david thanks again x
It is normally a pleasant experience when we visit here, but as they had a different karaoke host who wasn't very good it spoilt the night, this was Friday 12th July
Has gone downhill since the new owners have taken over, no longer serves food and the pool table condition has deteriorated.
Staff seem to be more interested in having arguments with other patrons, would avoid.
Good local pub, some pub games, reasonable selection of pils but not much interesting ale.
Service can be a bit sporadic, bar staff vanished for 10 mins, then served punters by who was closest.
A pub that me and my friends have just discovered. We play football on Wednesday and Sunday evening and stumbled across this pub when looking for a decent beer garden to sit out in the sun. Staff are friendly, prices are extremely reasonable and there is plenty of space for large groups.
