About This Pub
Oh, mate, let me tell you about The Hive Bar & Kitchen – it's one of those places in Bath that just hits the mark for a relaxed day out. From what folks are saying, the Sunday roasts are an absolute winner; imagine tucking into tender, juicy lamb or pork with heaps of perfectly roasted veg and a rich gravy – it's no wonder people rave about it being the best in town. The views out the back are gorgeous, making it perfect for a cheeky prosecco or a big salad on a sunny afternoon. The menu's got that unique edge too, with creative presentations that make everything feel a bit special. On the flip side, it's not without its quirks – you might end up in the basement if it's packed, which isn't as charming as the main area, and it does get bustling, so sorting a table in advance is a must to dodge any disappointment. All in all, it's a friendly, well-run spot that's worth a visit if you're after good grub and a proper pub atmosphere, but just keep those little niggles in mind for the full picture.

Absolutely gorgeous! Big salads, rose prosecco just what we needed! Stunning views, will definitely be returning!
We booked a table for a Sunday roast and it was fantastic! The meat was perfectly cooked and the vegetables were really tasty. This was one of the best roasts I’ve ever had, so I’d definitely recommend trying it. The only slight downside was that our table was downstairs in the basement; it would have been nicer to be sat upstairs with a better view… Maybe next time!
We stopped here for a Sunday roast whilst visiting Bath - lots of choice with veggies, chicken, pork, beef and lamb options. We went for the pork belly and veggies option which was a cauliflower steak, all served with a massive portion of vegetables. We then finished with a chocolate brownie - just one to share, as the roast was big! Definitely recommend this place for a Sunday roast - delicious!
Straight off the bat we could tell the kitchen cared about the dishes they served. Presentation of everything we ordered was absolutely supreme 👌🏽 The menu was quite unique as well, which I'd say is a positive.
The chick who served us there was really good at her job. View out the back is gorgeous too, definitely recommend sitting there if you go!
The best Sunday roast in Bath. You must try their Sunday roast once!!!
All the vegetables are roasted perfectly and I like the cabbage. The lamb is very delicious!!! Lamb is roasted perfectly, tender, juicy and meaty with the gravy.
It is pretty busy at lunchtime, need to have a reservation early.
Highly recommend!
