About This Pub
Ah, The Hawthorne – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem in Warrington, you know? From what I've gathered from the reviews, folks are raving about the beer, which is spot on for kicking back and enjoying a chat with mates. The food really steals the show too; think hearty, fresh-cooked dishes that are generous on the plate and won't break the bank, especially their Sunday roasts that sound like a proper treat. It's dead welcoming if you're with a furry friend, with all the little touches that make it feel inclusive and thoughtful. The staff come across as genuinely friendly and on point, adding to that warm, relaxed vibe where you can unwind without any nonsense. On the flip side, it's a bit of a shame the website's not accessible right now, so you might have to rely on word of mouth or a quick visit to sort out the details. And with some mixed signals on whether it's open or not, it's worth double-checking before you head out. Overall, it's a solid choice for a good night out – honest, unpretentious, and full of the little things that make a pub visit memorable, so I'd say give it a go if you're in the area.

Love here, never eaten here but it's a grand place with good beer!
This pub in Warrington is a fantastic spot for a relaxed meal and a drink, especially if you're bringing your dog along – they're very pet-friendly and make you feel right at home.
The food is excellent: hearty, home-cooked dishes made with care. You can tell it’s all fresh and made on-site.
On certain days, they even have a barbecue area where you can bring your own meat to grill – a really fun and original idea, perfect for a sunny afternoon. Just check in advance as it’s not available every day.
Great atmosphere, lovely staff, and a perfect place to unwind with good food and good company – both human and canine!

Relaxed atmosphere, stopped here after a local dog walk. Dog friendly pub with a gated yard, water bowls and a few toys for the dogs. Had a drink and prices are reasonable, friendly staff and locals too.
