About This Pub
Ah, The Globe – it's one of those classic pubs in Hartlepool that just draws you in with its warm, unpretentious charm. From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got this genuine community feel where the locals are generally up for a chat and make you feel welcome, which is always a treat when you're popping in for a quick pint. The beer, especially that Strongarm from Cameron's, gets high praise for being spot on and well-kept, and the beer garden sounds like a hidden little haven – imagine sitting out there on a quiet afternoon, all private and peaceful. Plus, they've clearly put thought into the little things, like having sanitising stations dotted around and even a ladies' toilet that's kitted out with everything you might need, not to mention those fairy lights that give it a bit of magic in the evenings. But, let's be honest, it's not all roses; some folks have mentioned that a few regulars act like they've claimed certain spots as their own, which can make things a tad awkward if you're new. The beer choices are on the slim side too, so if you're someone who likes to explore different options, you might find yourself wanting more. Overall, though, it's a solid spot for a relaxed night out – I'd say give it a go if you're in the area, just keep an open mind and you'll likely have a good time.

It doesn't always come across as the friendliest for newcomers, based on a couple of experiences shared.

Friendly pub with a nice atmosphere dominated by locals who were all accommodating although as ever there are some people who feel they own their seats in there - this did not spoil any part of the evening though and I'd recommend a drink in here to anyone who fancied a drink.
1st visit, nice place very friendly people, beer was nice.
Nice little bar with a good pint but very limited beer choice. Nice beer garden but not the friendliest place I have ever visited.
Best kept Strongarm Beer from Cameron's. The garden is beautiful & private. Try daytime session with the oldies.
Great pub x sanitising stations wherever you went. Never seen a toilet like it for the ladies, everything a lady in the moment may need xx love to go back at night time one day having seen all the fairy lights around
