The George in Bridlington

You know, when I think about The George, it really stands out as one of those reliable spots in Bridlington that just gets the basics right. The harbour view is something else – imagine settling in by the window with a cold beer, taking in the sights while the sun sets; it's dead relaxing and adds a proper seaside feel to your visit. The staff are brilliant too, always chatting away and making sure everything runs smoothly, which makes the whole experience feel warm and inviting. And let's not forget how great it is that they welcome dogs; it's perfect if you're out for a walk and fancy a stop-off. They've got a solid range of beers and some tempting specials like rum deals, plus the food gets a thumbs-up from what I've heard. On the flip side, it's a shame there's no website or easy way to get in touch, so you might end up winging it a bit when it comes to checking opening times or what's on offer. Still, overall, it's a lovely place for a casual catch-up with friends, and with that 4.3 rating, you'd be hard-pressed not to have a good time – just pop in and see for yourself!
