About This Pub
Ah, The Front Room – what a little hidden gem in London! I've got to say, it's one of those places that really hits the spot for a relaxed get-together. The food is just brilliant; I tried the chicken burger on my first visit and it was massive, super tasty, and something I'd go back for in a heartbeat. They've got all-day breakfasts that are spot on, and that Thai menu on weekends is apparently the best around – proper generous portions that make you feel like you've got your money's worth. The staff are an absolute delight, always helpful and creating a warm atmosphere whether it's breakfast time or later in the evening. Plus, if you're out with your dog, they'll make them feel welcome too, which is a nice touch. On the flip side, though, it's not all perfect – I heard from a mate that the cocktails can be a letdown if the bar staff aren't up to speed, and the music selection might put a dampener on things if you're hoping for a proper night out. It also shuts up shop earlier than advertised, so if you're planning a big night, you might need to head elsewhere. Overall, with such positive vibes from most folks, it's definitely worth a visit for a solid, enjoyable experience, but just keep those little niggles in mind for a balanced outing.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The food is absolutely top-notch, with massive portions that leave you feeling well satisfied – think delicious breakfasts, burgers, and even a cracking Thai menu on Fridays and Saturdays.
-
The staff are lovely and really welcoming, always up for a chat and making sure everyone has a good time.
-
It has a great atmosphere that's versatile for any time of day, whether you're popping in for a morning coffee, an afternoon bite, or an evening wind-down.
-
It's dog-friendly, which is brilliant if you're out with your four-legged mate – they'll feel right at home.
Cons
-
Some of the bar staff aren't quite up to scratch on cocktails, which could leave you disappointed if that's what you're after.
-
The music can be a bit of a disaster at times, not quite hitting the mark for a lively night out.
-
It tends to close earlier than you'd expect, often by half past midnight instead of later, so it's not ideal for a late session.

Went there on Saturday night...the bar staff didn't know how to make a cocktail. The music was a disaster 🙃 and the place should be open till 2 a.m., but it was shut by 00.30.
Overall, I was very disappointed 😞
