About This Pub
Ah, mates, let me tell you about The Fox & Hounds – it's one of those pubs that really hits the spot for a laid-back evening. From what I've gathered from the reviews, the staff go above and beyond; they're super friendly and manage to keep things running smoothly even when they're a bit short-handed, which is always a plus when you're after that warm, welcoming feel. The food's a real highlight too – fresh, homemade dishes that folks rave about, paired with a good selection of beers, making it a top choice for a proper meal out. Plus, with its clean, comfortable interior and loads of outdoor space, complete with a free car park, it's brilliant for families or just soaking up the sun on warmer days. On the flip side, it's not all perfect; a few have mentioned feeling a bit uneasy with stares from the regulars when they first arrive, and there've been grumbles about a strange aftertaste in drinks or that overpowering bleach smell, which could put some off. Overall, though, with a solid 4.1 rating from heaps of reviews, it's got more going for it than not – I'd say it's worth a visit if you're in the area, just go in with an open mind and you'll likely have a great time.

Cons
-

-
There have been complaints about a weird aftertaste in drinks, possibly from the glasses, and a strong bleach smell that might linger a bit too much.

It can get a tad busy, and while the service is great, waiting for food might take a minute if they're short on staff.
