About This Pub
Ah, The Four Leaf in Harrogate is one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem, doesn't it? From what I've gathered chatting with folks who've been, the food really steals the show – that Irish stew and the chicken dishes are hearty and full of flavour, perfect for soaking up after a few pints. The bottomless brunch sounds like a laugh, ideal for a weekend catch-up with mates. And let's not forget the staff; they're an absolute delight, always up for a chat and quick with recommendations, which makes the whole experience feel warm and personal. The live music adds such a nice touch, turning an ordinary evening into something memorable, and it's great for watching the match with a cold one in hand. On the downside, though, I've heard a few grumbles about portions shrinking on favourites like the burgers, and there have been times when waits for food stretched on a bit too long, or it didn't quite taste as fresh as it could. Still, it's got that cosy, welcoming vibe that makes you want to return, so if you're after a solid spot for good craic and a bite, it's definitely worth popping in – just keep an eye on the service side of things.

Cons
-
Portions on some dishes, like the burgers, seem to have got a bit smaller lately, which can leave you wanting more
-
Wait times for food can drag on, even when the place is buzzing, which might put a dampener on things
-
Occasionally, the food doesn't quite hit the mark, feeling a tad reheated rather than freshly made
-
Table service is a bit lacking, with most things handled at the bar, so you might end up fetching your own rounds

Every time I go into Four Leaf I get amazing food and service. I've made my way through the entire menu and my favourites are the chicken and the Irish stew! Bottomless brunch is also well worth it. Love the live music too. Particular shout outs to Cassy, Tom, Alex and of course, the chef! You guys go above and beyond!!
This place is very nice and cosy with nice food, bartendenders, music, with TVs to enjoy some football or any kind of sport! The bartenders are very nice and helpful. There was this bartender, particularly this one called Thomas, that was very kind and helpful that recommended the drinks. The food is AMAZING!! I tried the "dirty fries", "halloumi fries" and the "spicy nachos" which were really good and were brought up quite fast!
The decoration was on another level!
As a Spanish person that loves his gastronomy, I recommend that, if you're at Harrogate and fancy a pint of Guiness or , going to "The Four Leaf" is a must!
Meal was good. Nice flavor with the burger. Seems burger size has gotten smaller. Good service at the bar but would have liked service at my table. Live music was good. Has improved since last visit.
It was off hours but packed which is a good sign. Bit of live music and a bite to eat seemed perfect! On this occasion our order might have been left at the counter and overlooked as we waited well over an hour for a couple burgers and fish and chips - when it came out it tasted a bit reheated. Even then the food was still tasty! Im sure it would have been awesome fresh! The servers were nice the manager very accommodating in giving us a round of drinks on the house for the wait. Looks like a great place to go out with buds and drink a few buds but unfortunately we went for the food at a crazy busy time and it didn’t go well for us. I will come back again someday and will hopefully be able to update this review with more stars as the atmosphere was great!
Didn’t get food as it was an evening had dinner already but food looked good. Brilliant atmosphere with a live Irish singer . Guinness was delightful, reasonably priced drinks and plenty of seats.
