About This Pub
Ah, The Fountain – it's one of those places that really grows on you with its warm, homely feel and that classic London pub charm. I love how the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome, whether you're popping in for a quick drink or settling in for a stay; they're chatty and helpful, which adds such a nice touch to the whole experience. The rooms are surprisingly comfy and well-kept, with little extras that make a difference, and the location's spot-on if you're into events at Tottenham Stadium – it's easy to get to and back from without any fuss. Plus, that garden area is just brilliant for a relaxed afternoon pint in the fresh air. On the flip side, though, it's not all smooth sailing; I've heard a few tales of sound problems during sports screenings, which can be a real letdown when you're there to catch the game. And sometimes, when things get busy, the service might not be as on point, leaving you with that nagging feeling that it could be better organised. Overall, it's a solid choice for a casual night out or a budget-friendly base, but keep in mind it shines brightest on quieter days – definitely worth a visit if you're in the area, just go in with realistic expectations for the buzzier events.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are absolutely lovely and welcoming, always ready with a smile and a chat that makes you feel right at home.
-
Rooms are clean, comfortable, and come with nice little touches like tea, coffee, and a great view in some spots – perfect for a quick overnight stay.
-
It's in a brilliant spot near Tottenham Stadium, making it super convenient for concerts or matches without the hassle of a long trek.
-
The garden is a real gem, a peaceful place to sit back with a drink and soak up the vibes before heading out.
-
Prices are pretty reasonable for the area, so you get good value whether you're grabbing a pint or booking a room.
Cons
-
Sound issues during sports events can really put a damper on things, like when the game's on and you can barely hear it over other distractions.
-
Service might feel a bit stretched at busy times, leading to the odd inconsistency that could leave you wanting a smoother experience.
-
It's a shame about the occasional management slip-ups, especially for big crowds, which might not live up to the hype for a lively pub night.

My daughter and I stayed at the Fountain hotel for two nights as we had tickets for Beyonce. The staff were lovely, the room was clean and comfortable and the location was great for Tottenham stadium. Thanks for a lovely stay
The owners were very kind when they came and immediately started talking to me. It was very beautiful and clean there.Today I will be there again, very nice atmosphereBeautiful bar, cozy, people serve with a smile, very polite and friendly in general, the hotel is very beautiful, like a small boutique hotel. In any case, it's a good place and worth the money.
Stayed here with a mate for a concert at The Emirates. Good distance to get to and back from concert. Pub was good and prices reasonable. Garden was lovely to sit and chill in before concert.
The lady that checked us in lunch time was still there after the concert she was smashin her work but shouldnt be allowed to sort and organise as much as she was.!! She was friendly and very polite. We had no window in the room but a skylight that didnt work so woke up stuffy. Fridge had milk in and tea making facitlites will stay here again but wil ask for a room with a window.
This pub’s management of customers during sport is rubbish.
6 Nations are on with the whole pub watching on the big screen and they put the sound of the football 2 persons are watching. Excuse is that the speaker doesn’t work but we can hear the sound on them very low.
Last time on another 6 nations game, they are playing the darts that 1 persons was watching on the big screen (with sound, surprise surprise) and get told we can’t get it on.
Just horrendous management of the customers coming and no one cares what the preference of everyone is.
Such a good potential but really bad management and the poor guy at the bar on his own trying to manage everything.
Room 215 has a beautiful view! A surprisingly great experience I was delighted by. The staff member that showed us around (Friday around 2:30pm) was very kind and helpful. The room had cereals, tea, coffee, milk and a fridge as well as the shower having a nice shower gel provided. The room was larger than expected and decorated really nicely for a simple and cheap night stay. 24hr access and use of a communal kitchen on site! The pub looks rough from the outside but it’s all very nice in there! Great experience- my expectations were v low as we just needed a place to stay near Drumsheds- but this was a fab result. Kudos!
