The place wasn't the best before,but it's worse now the manager picks on everything she can find to moan about,really ignorant to her customers,telling us to move from a table that was clearly not reserved,I will not spend another penny in the place,the land lady even moaned about the chalk on the pool table because it fell on floor..not a welcoming place at all.
This pub was great a few years ago but ever since the new owners have taken over, it’s gone down hill massively. The manager is extremely rude both physically and verbally. One example of this being when I went there with my family, and we weren’t aware some seats where reserved (as there was no signs of information proving so) we sat down and the manager came over with bad language, smacking the table and getting close to my cousins face while shouting verbal abuse at her for no reason at all. The toilets are also filthy, no hygiene levels there at all. I really wouldn’t recommend this place unfortunately.
Came here tonight, got drinks sat down for ten minutes then to be abruptly told the seats were unavailable due to a party, no probs moved to another table to then be shouted from other side of bar that noone was to sit on that side of the pub. Should of advised us prior to us sitting down/ had reservation signs out. No manners or nothing! Shame on you!
Came in tonight with the Mrs the manager was very rude with the way she spoke to people need to I prove this as left after the one rather tan having a few drinks won't be back in a hurry
Staff great customers r ok don't do food I am so sorry 4 making a mess of the toilet my fault I not sure wat happened but I had a little accident so I just 1 2 oppologise 4 the mess
