About This Pub
Ah, The Crown Inn – it's one of those pubs that just hits the spot for a laid-back evening out. From what I've gathered from folks' experiences, the place really shines with its warm, friendly vibe where the staff go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome, and the drinks selection is spot on, especially if you're a fan of well-poured ales or a proper Guinness. The food doesn't disappoint either; think delicious Sunday roasts that have people raving, served up quickly in a bustling setting that's equal parts traditional and inviting. On the flip side, the opening times can be a tad tricky to navigate, and it often fills up fast, so planning ahead is a must to snag a table. Overall, it's a solid choice for a good night with mates, offering that perfect balance of comfort and community without trying to be anything too fancy – just a reliable local gem where you can relax and enjoy yourself.

Nice friendly atmosphere and staff pleasant 👍
Had a very enjoyable few pints of lovely creamy Guinness. Being an Irishman, I’m very fussy about my pint of stout and the Guinness here certainly ticked all the right boxes. Staff were super friendly as well. An enjoyable hour or two spent here. I’ll definitely be back.
Popped in for a Sunday Roast to end our trip and was one of the best Sunday Roast’s all of us have ever had. All 9 of us thoroughly enjoyed every part of the dinner! Service was great, very friendly and attentive and dinner was served so fast! Would advise booking as it does get very busy!

A quant old fashioned pub with a modern feel. The fixtures and fittings haven't changed in the 15+ years I've been frequenting the establishment, but they have been well taken care of. Copper tables and copper ornaments are not out of place, and the whole pub feels homely and welcoming. Complete with a modern rear garden and pool table.
