About This Pub
So, if you're looking for a proper London pub that delivers on the classics, The Cadogan Arms is definitely one to check out – it's got that inviting feel right from the start. I love how they nail the food; whether it's a mouth-watering Sunday roast with the best roast potatoes you've ever tasted or a simple ham, eggs, and chips that leaves you smiling, it's all done with real care. The cocktails and wine list add a nice touch for those wanting to elevate their visit, and the staff are genuinely attentive, making you feel right at home – it's those little extras, like a thoughtful greeting for an anniversary, that make it stand out. On the downside, the wine selection can feel a tad disorganised, with some bottles lacking labels and the occasional hiccup in service, like not knowing how to handle a cork properly, which might frustrate you if you're particular about your drinks. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed evening; the positives far outweigh the niggles, and you'd be hard-pressed not to have a good time here.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The food is absolutely spot on – think delicious Sunday roasts, perfect scotch eggs, and classics like fish and chips that really hit the mark.
-
The staff are so friendly and welcoming; they go the extra mile, like surprising folks with a card for special occasions, which adds a lovely touch.
-
It's got a cosy and beautiful atmosphere, making it a brilliant spot for a relaxed meal or a catch-up with mates in the heart of London.
Cons
-
The wine list can be a bit confusing, with things like unlabeled bottles that might leave you scratching your head.
-
Service with the drinks isn't always seamless – for instance, some staff might not be fully up to speed on opening corks, which can put a small dampener on things.

Fantastic Sunday brunch. We opted for some fish and chips and the burger. Almost had it in us for the Sunday roast but opted for other traditional fare. The roast did look delicious though. We didn’t go wrong with our choices. Sprinkled in some Sunday cocktails and this was a great choice. Next time we’ll roast.
Absolutely loved this place! Went for out wedding anniversary and arrived to a Congratulations greeting card. Staff were all absolutely lovely and the food was delicious. Thank you for making our wedding anniversary really special.
Booked for a Sunday roast on quite a warm day but that didn't stop us ordering up. Enjoyed the scotch egg (perfection!), a pork roast and beef roast. Both delicious. The BEST roast potatoes I've had. Amazing sticky pud too on desert menu. Nice wine list and atmosphere. Service was also friendly.
Very beautiful bar and decorating inside, it’s a lot more than traditional English pub. Food was amazin, wine list is a bit weird, we ordered bottle with no label on it, but doesn’t say anything different on the menu. And our waitress doesn’t know how to open the cork.
Amazing food in this cosy nice pub. We had ham, eggs and chips and it was amazing. We also started with scotch egg and black pudding and truly enjoyed it. I understand from others in our group that fish and chips was also great. Service was great and friendly and wait time was very reasonable
