About This Pub
Oh, let me tell you about The Bulls Head – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a second home, with the staff being so chatty and attentive that you'll leave with a smile. The food's spot on too, offering good quality pub grub at prices that won't sting your wallet, and it's handled with real care, whether you're popping in for a quick bite or sorting out something bigger like a gathering. From what I've seen in the reviews, it's a hit for its community spirit and reliability, which is why it's racked up such high praise. On the downside, no on-site parking means you might have to hunt around a bit if you're arriving by car, and the hours can wiggle a tad on Sundays, so plan ahead. All in all, it's a lovely spot that does the classics well, and I'd say it's well worth a visit for anyone after a proper, heartfelt pub experience.

Good quality pub food served to a high standard. Friendly staff and a landlady that is very friendly and always makes you feel welcome, always chats to everyone.
Excellent service and good as always, proper village pub.
Marvellous welcome for the Leicester and District Ramblers on a sunny Tuesday morning. Delicious and well presented light bites at affordable prices. Thank you for your hospitality!
I held a funeral wake here, we used the skittle alley at the back that had table laid out for 40 people.
The manager Becky looked after us so well, from helping to book this and agree the food choices, and then throughout the wake coming to check & top up supplies as needed. Also it’s really good value for money. A bottle of wine is under £15!! All bar staff were friendly, as were the locals.
Thank you Becky, you made a difficult day so much better 🙏
Lovely pub run by lovely people.
Arriving here was my only real quarm, which is of no fault of the lovely people that run it. The pub has no parking, but being a traditional village pub this is understandable.
We were warmly welcomed (and recognised from a previous visit) by Becky and her son (Cody, Connor, callum??) and proceeded to order from the menu. One thing I would like to note is that the menu is not set to just what is on there and is fully adaptable.
I ordered a mixed grill with black pudding (pictured) and ordering a side of onion rings and mushrooms was no trouble at all (this was an afterthought on my part). The wife had fish and chips.
Everything was cooked perfectly and with pride by Becky. I almost finished it but I blame the pint of Guinness for leaving a few scraps. The fish had a light gluten free batter and cooked to a very high standard (even Gordon Ramsay would approve). Cody (Connor, callum??) even came to open sauce packets for us as we are both inept at opening sachets.
Overall our visit was enjoyable and we felt very comfortable there. Thank you so much for having us.
