About This Pub
Ah, Tree House Cafe – what a lovely find it is, tucked away on Blaby Road. I've got to say, chatting about it feels like sharing a tip with mates over a pint, even though it's more of a cosy cafe than a full-on pub. The grub here is spot on; folks rave about the breakfasts and that biscoff latte is something else – fresh, tasty, and with portions that'll leave you satisfied without feeling guilty. It's got this real community spirit, being super dog-friendly and welcoming to families, which makes it ideal for a relaxed meet-up. The team behind the counter are an absolute delight, always cheerful and willing to sort things out, like when they dashed to the shop for bacon in one review. On the flip side, it's only open five days a week and wraps up by 3 PM, so if you're fancying a lazy brunch that stretches into the afternoon, you might need to plan around that. Plus, without a website, it's a tad old-school in terms of getting the lowdown online. All in all, with a stellar 4.8 rating from the reviews, it's clear this place does a lot right, and I'd definitely pop in if you're in the area for a proper feel-good experience – just keep an eye on those opening times!
Pros and Cons

The food is absolutely top-notch – from delicious breakfasts like full English and egg Benedict to that incredible biscoff latte, it's all fresh and flavoursome with generous portions.
-
It's a real gem for families and dog owners; they're super accommodating to kids and pets, creating a lovely, welcoming community vibe.
-
The staff are brilliant – friendly, helpful, and always ready to go the extra mile, like popping out to get ingredients if needed.
-
The atmosphere is so cosy and relaxing, with a covered outdoor seating area that's perfect for a chilled catch-up over coffee.
-
It's affordably priced, making it a great spot for everyday treats without breaking the bank.
Cons
-
It only opens five days a week and shuts quite early at around 3 PM, which might not suit those after a late breakfast or evening outing.
-
There's no website or online presence listed, so it's a bit tricky to check menus or book ahead without just turning up.
-
Occasionally, they might run out of popular items like bacon, which could mean a slight wait or adjustment to your order.

Came to visit few weeks ago with a friend
Dog friendly cafe and were accommodating towards my friends child too
Lovely family friendly atmosphere and community spirit
Food was amazing and that biscoff latte is out of this world
Highly recommend
The cosiest café I know of. The food here is truly delicious and the portion sizes are very respectable. The team who serve are great at what they do and also very friendly. The coffee is lovely, too. On top of all that, there's a covered outdoor seating area behind the café. Usually eat here for lunch but they do sometimes open for evening meals to be served, sometimes accompanied by live music. Beautiful food, warm and professional service, relaxed, inclusive and welcoming atmosphere. Love this place. Highly recommended!
My friend recommended here for a Full English breakfast as I've been living abroad for many years. We visited quite late so the breakfast had technically ended and they had ran out of bacon but the lovely lady said she would pop to the shop to get some just so she could make the full breakfast and it was definitely worth it. Amazing food and service.
Best breakfast I’ve had in a while! I had the egg Benedict and the partner had a full English had everything you could think of. Everything fresh and the latte good!! Great atmosphere the ladies are lovely and welcoming good pricing too easy to find definitely would come back and visit again!
