About This Pub
Ah, The Buckingham Arms, what a cracking little spot it is in Linslade – I've got to say, it's one of those pubs that just makes you feel glad you popped in. From what I've seen in the reviews, it's spot on for a cosy evening; the staff are dead friendly and always up for a natter, and the atmosphere is just so inviting with its traditional feel and homely touches. You'll love the outdoor garden for soaking up the sun with a cold one, and inside, there's fun to be had with the pool table, darts, and telly for the footy – it's got that perfect balance of calm and lively without ever feeling too rowdy. On the flip side, it does have a quirky charm that might not suit those after something more modern or fancy, and a recent review hinted it wasn't quite hitting the mark lately, so it could be worth checking how things are on the day. All in all, if you're in Leighton Buzzard and fancy a pint in a welcoming local, this one's worth a go – just go with an open mind and you'll likely have a great time.

Cons

It can come across as a bit quirky or 'funny' in a small-town way, which might not appeal to everyone looking for a more polished spot.

Recent feedback suggests things might have dipped a little, with one review noting it as just okay rather than outstanding.
-
Without a website, it's not the easiest to check out menus or events in advance, which could be a minor hassle for planning a visit.

Funny little pub but friendly service.
Just had a drink on a warm sunny day sitting outside in the garden area
I have popped in twice in recent weeks for a pint before going to the train station. Lovely quaint old-style pub which are always warm and welcoming.
Fantastic local pub. Tables out front for the sunny days, pool table, darts and TV in the back that usually have the football on. Really friendly owner usually runs the bar and the guests are always friendly and polite.
Pleasant surprise to this little Pub which I have driven past many times but not stopped. It's a traditional Pub with a quiet Bar for relaxing conversation which is clean, warm and bright...
And a separate bar for TV, Pool, Darts and the Music which can be more lively...
In both Bars the locals were friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to another visit.
This is a very calm and peaceful public house, the staff who work here are very friendly and helpful, the general atmosphere helps you wind down, with a very homely feel added via the furnishings and features. The drinks are very nice, too, with a nice array of beverages on draught.
