About This Pub
Ah, The Boundary – it's one of those pubs that just hits the spot for a good night out without breaking the bank. From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got this warm, inviting atmosphere where you can tuck into some seriously tasty grub, like that fish and chips deal that's an absolute steal, and then linger over a few drinks with mates. The staff sound like a proper friendly bunch, always up for a chat, and they've spruced up the place nicely with a recent update, making it feel fresh and welcoming. It's got a bit of everything – whether you're after a quiet afternoon tea or a lively evening, and that play area means it's great if you're out with the little ones. On the flip side, though, the opening times are a tad confusing with all those Sunday slots listed, and being closed one day a week could be a nuisance if you're set on popping in. Plus, without a website, it's not the easiest to plan your visit, and the lack of super recent reviews makes me wonder if it's still buzzing as much as it used to be. All in all, I'd say it's worth a punt for a solid pub experience – just go in with realistic expectations and you'll likely have a grand time.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The food here is absolutely spot on – think hearty fish and chips with mushy peas for a steal at just £20 for two, including drinks; it's a real bargain that leaves you feeling chuffed.
-
Friendly staff and owners make you feel right at home, with top-notch service and a welcoming atmosphere that's perfect for a relaxed catch-up with mates.
-
They've got a great selection of beers, ales, and spirits, plus a nicely updated interior that adds a fresh vibe, and there's even a little play area for families, which is a nice touch.
Cons
-
The operating hours seem a bit muddled with multiple listings for Sundays, and it's closed one day a week, which might catch you out if you're planning a spontaneous visit.
-
No website means it's trickier to check menus or book ahead, so you might end up winging it and hoping for the best.
-
While the reviews are glowing, there haven't been any recent ones in the last six months, so it's hard to tell if things have stayed as brilliant as they were.

will deffently be back and use the venue for our meets.
Great value in this place. The home cooked food was rich in taste, particular to the pub and hearty. Everyone said it was a great meal and the price was great. I didn't have any tea I was still stuffed from lunch.
