Not to bad to be honest , needs a bit of tlc , it was going to close down ,but hopefully the new owners can improve a few things , the staff are very friendly and now it's a free house the drinks are reasonably priced and their is a fantastic pizza van outside , what's not to like .
They have live music on now and again and have started doing special food/theme nights ,
Okay bad points as they were the good points above , no wheelchair access & the parking is awkward but their is plenty of parking space around the corner near the church
Had been my local pub for years until I moved away. When we got married we had our wedding reception here. The room was decorated beautifully, the food was amazing and everyone had a fabulous time. Dave is a wonderful landlord.
Went here for a private function and loved it.

Lovely friendly atmosphere. Definitely my new local. Extremely dog friendly as well, dogs usually get served before the humans
Popped in briefly for a pint whilst waiting to collect a pizza from Motivate (the wood fired pizza van outside). We were really impressed with the friendliness inside and they had RoadCrew and Cameron's Strongarm on. Very pleased. Think we will be doing the pizza run with a beer in here more often.
