About This Pub
Ah, The Bell Foundry – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem in Loughborough, you know? From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, folks really appreciate the wallet-friendly drinks and that wide range of beers on tap, making it a go-to for a relaxed catch-up with mates. The staff sound like absolute stars, always on hand to make your visit smooth and enjoyable, and with live sport screening on big screens, plus games like pool and darts, there's loads to keep you entertained on a quiet evening. They've got fun events like weekly quizzes and bingo, which add a lovely community touch, especially if you're new to the area or a student looking for a break from the books. On the flip side, though, the outdoor space needs a bit of TLC – it's not quite as charming as the inside, which has a nice modern vibe. And if you're heading out on a Friday or Saturday, you might find the door staff a tad overzealous, but that's just how things go in town centres sometimes. Overall, it's a solid spot for a pint and a chat, with more positives than negatives, so I'd say it's worth popping in for a try – just keep an eye on those opening times to avoid any surprises!
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The Bell Foundry has a fantastic selection of beers and drinks, with some great offers that make it easy on the wallet – perfect for a casual night out.
-
The staff are absolutely lovely and welcoming, always ready with a smile and top-notch service that makes you feel right at home.
-
It's got a relaxed atmosphere, especially during the day, with live sport on HD screens, pool tables, and darts for a bit of fun while you sip your pint.
-
Being slap bang in the town centre, it's super convenient, right on the bus routes, and they host events like quizzes and bingo, which add a nice community vibe.
Cons
-
The outside area could do with a bit of a spruce-up; it's not as inviting as the inside, which might put you off if you're looking for al fresco drinking.
-
On weekend nights, things can get a tad tricky with the door staff, as they might be a bit strict, though that's more about the area than the pub itself.
-
There seem to be some inconsistencies with the opening hours listed, which could catch you out if you're planning a visit – always best to double-check.

Craft union pub I Loughborough centre on main 🚌 route's, good selection of beers 🍻 etc,
Excellent food, nicely presented.
Waitress was great too.
Got in at just the right time as it got very busy shortly afterwards.
Would recommend for a welcoming and tasty lunch.
Love this pub right in the heart of the town centre really cheap pints, no students and a relaxed atmosphere for most of the days in there. if your going out on a weekend night then like all bouncers in Loughborough they can be abit funny but that's nothing to do with the place itself.
The staff were lovely but the outside area needed a bit of a makeover. Inside was nice, pool table too. However, being October the heaters did work so can't complain!
Classic old pub with a modern interior. Good range of draught plus some good beers in bottles.
