About This Pub
Ah, The Beehive, what a lovely little spot it is! From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got that classic pub charm that's hard to beat, with folks raving about the friendly atmosphere and how it feels like a true local haunt. The ales are spot on, always well-kept and with a good variety to choose from, which is music to my ears for anyone who appreciates a decent pint. That beer garden sounds like a winner too, especially on a sunny afternoon – imagine kicking back with friends, maybe even bringing the dog along since it's so welcoming. They've got extras like a fun pub quiz that keeps things entertaining, and the staff are quick off the mark, making sure you're never left waiting. On the flip side, it's not smack in the middle of town, so if you're coming from further afield, it might take a bit of effort to get there, and the opening times can be a bit all over the place, which is a minor niggle. Plus, their website didn't load for me, so you might need to check in person or give them a ring. Overall, with a solid 4.5 rating from heaps of happy visitors, I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're after a relaxed, down-to-earth pub experience – just go with an open mind and you'll likely leave with a smile.

I lived near the Beehive for many years. It's a wonderful pub with a very nice beer garden. The ales are always well kept and the atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. Very highly recommended. I haven't ever found a pub like it.
Nice pub, lovely, quick bar staff. Challenging but fun pub quiz, good sized beer garden.
Great friendly staff and customers, dog friendly, good value nice local little pub. Great outside area.
Bit of a walk from centre but classic city estate pub. Good choice of beers, classy old gents lining the bar. Exactly what you'd expect from this type of pub.
Great local pub. With well kept ale. On Fridays the most amazing pies & sausage rolls are available (the locals buy the pies to take home to go with mash & veg)
