About This Pub
Ah, The Beech House in Solihull – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem, you know? From what I've gathered from folks' experiences, it's got this easy-going atmosphere that's ideal for everything from a quick pint to a family gathering or even a business lunch. The drinks menu is spot on, with a great range of beers and spirits that cater to all preferences, and the food doesn't disappoint either – think fresh, authentic pizzas straight from their own oven, like that Caprino one that's got rave reviews for being packed with flavour. The staff are always up for a chat and make you feel right at home, which is a nice touch. On the flip side, though, the car park's a bit tight, and I've heard a few stories about unexpected fines, so it's worth keeping an eye out if you're driving. Plus, portions might not be the most generous, and it can get packed, so booking ahead is probably a smart move. All in all, it's a solid choice for a good night out, with plenty of positives that outweigh the minor niggles – I'd say give it a go if you're in the area!

Had a great visit to The Beech House in Solihull — a nice bar and restaurant with a relaxed vibe. They offer a decent selection of beers, ales, ciders, and spirits, so there’s something for everyone. I tried the Caprino pizza and it was absolutely delicious — generously topped with aubergines, courgettes, peppers, onions, mozzarella, and a mix of other cheeses. The flavours were fresh and well-balanced. Service was friendly. A great spot for food and drinks in town.
Met here for a business meeting over lunch. It’s quite a nice family friendly establishment. My colleagues food look fairly decent value for money… word of warning though, if you do drive, it has quite a small car park… I got stung by the company that runs their car park. My colleagues and clients were fine however I wasn’t so lucky. But even though I had put my reg in on the tablets by the bar, for some reason I still got a ticket. I appealed and showed the parking company my bank statement showing I was a paying customer and they decided to uphold the ticket…. Without an explanation, it could happen to anyone…So I will definitely avoid going there again with a vehicle. Was the most expensive pub lunch I could have had…. So my advice… nice little pub… but don’t think about parking there, walk or get a cab.
A beautiful pub in Solihull. Great service and food. Great prices and ideal for lunch it dinner. I would book in advance thi as it can be packed. Parkikg aswell is right next to it but not many spaces.
Enjoyed a two course meal with a Meet Up group, portions were small but tasty. Friendly staff.
This is a lovely place to eat, drink, or hopefully both.
They have a proper Pizza Oven and make proper authentic Italian Pizza from scratch, no bought in frozen pizza bases.
I'm a pizza snob and this is heaven on a plate.
I took a wrong turn for the toilet and wandered into the kitchens. They were spotless, the toilets were also immaculate. This is a high standards - high quality establishment where quality and attention to detail are not overlooked.
It also has really friendly staff and I'm eager to go here again.
I know it looks like a regular pub from the outside but give it a try and have your expectations exceeded.
