About This Pub
Ah, Taste Collective – it's one of those places in Solihull that just feels like a proper community hub, you know? I've heard from folks who've been there that the food is an absolute highlight; think fresh, tasty street food from independent traders, with options for everyone, whether you're after a hearty bagel or something sweet to finish off. The drinks side of things is spot on too, with craft beers and cocktails that go down a treat, especially if you're settling in for live sports or one of their fun events like the Thursday quiz nights – they're free entry and full of laughs, from what I've gathered. The staff are usually bang on, being helpful and chatty, which makes the whole experience feel warm and inviting. On the flip side, though, it's not all perfect; there have been a few tales of staff getting a bit muddled, like arguments breaking out or drinks taking forever to arrive, even when it's quiet. And sometimes, you might find they can't quite clarify what's in a dish, which could be a nuisance if you're picky about ingredients. Overall, it's a solid choice for a night out if you're up for good grub and games, but it'd be even better with a bit more polish on the service front. I'd say give it a go – it's got that community spirit that's hard to beat.

Visit most times we’re in Solihull and they always have a great selection of food and drinks on offer and good value too! The food is always fresh and delicious and with friendly and helpful staff cooking and serving! Would recommend 😊
It was alright but there seemed to be a lot of confusion amongst the staff. The pizza vendor was shouting at a waitress at one point and ordering a pint through the QR code menu on the table took about 15 minutes to arrive despite it being pretty quiet.
They didn't know if one of the dishes contained gluten or not.
The bread on the chicken sandwich was quite stale but the other things we got were better.
Smoking Bagels, opened up today at Taste Collective.
Was skeptical with the Jack fruit bagel.
But bang on.
Rico did a great job. Will come back soon to try their Cardigan concept, Hungry Belly.
We went here as a group for the Thursday Quiz Night. Was lots of fun! The staff were really attentive and friendly. The Quiz host was also great and very funny.
We’d definitely come again and would recommend.
A great space to meet friends or spend time with the family. There’s an varied selection of food traders to choose from so there really is something for everyone, including those with a sweet tooth; they have recently added a dessert trader serving treats such as waffles and milkshakes. You can order via your phone for convenience and you will find great events on throughout the month - our personal favourite is music bingo!
We love Taste Collective so much we kinda go out of our way to visit, so if you’re local or shopping in Solihull, we highly recommend.
