Went there just before Xmas for a few drinks on a pub crawl for a mates 50th, brilliant little pub, beer was cheaper than most and the pool table kept us busy… going again next sat 👍
Stood at the bar while the barmaid was serving the people before me. She then completely ignored me and went to talk to her friends at the side of the bar. Walked out. I would give a zero stars if I could
Just seen the reply below. This is absolutely rubbish. As I said, I was there while the previous people were served and then was ignored, even if it was a change of shift the barmaid should have said something and not just gone to talk to her friends (and compare nails) at the side of the bar. I was there much longer than a few seconds just waiting to be noticed Terrible service Terrible bar Terrible response.
Ive spend far too long over the years, in and out of this establishment. It must say some thing if I still want to go back. Even more so these days. The current landlord really makes an effort to welcome and serve his guests. It’s a delight to visit there and if you’re lost for some thing to do, defo go there!!
Highly recommend this pub if you're ne w to the area. Right by Leicester Station.
