About This Pub
Ah, SW16 Bar & Kitchen – it's one of those places that just warms your heart from the moment you step in. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, folks absolutely rave about the cosy, calming interior and that genuine neighbourhood feel, perfect for everything from a lazy brunch to a proper Sunday roast. The food's a real highlight; it's all about fresh, seasonal ingredients with an Italian twist, thanks to the chefs' Puglian roots, and reviews mention standout dishes like the beef carpaccio and pasta that leave you wanting to come back for more. Plus, the drinks side of things is spot on, with deals like bottomless Prosecco and two-for-one cocktails during happy hour making it an affordable treat. On the flip side, though, a few people have noted that portions aren't massive, so if you're starving, you might need to order extras, and it's a shame about that one day a week when it's shut, which could throw a spanner in your plans. Overall, it's a solid choice for anyone in South London looking for a place that's all about good hospitality without the fuss – I'd say give it a go if you're after a relaxed spot to unwind with friends, but keep those portion expectations in check for a balanced experience.
Pros and Cons

-
They've got some brilliant drink deals, like bottomless Prosecco and happy hour cocktails, which make it great value for a night out.
-
It's a versatile venue for everything from weekday suppers to Sunday roasts, with a neighbourhood vibe that's hard to beat.
Cons
-
Portion sizes can be a bit on the small side for some dishes, which might leave you wanting just a little more bang for your buck.
-
It seems like they might be closed one day a week, which could be a nuisance if you're planning a spontaneous visit.
-
The menu is fairly compact, so if you're after a wide variety of options, you might find it a tad limited compared to bigger chains.

I had a lovely dinner a few weeks ago!! Lovely atmosphere, delicious menu and food. We shared a lovely bottle of wine. We were served by a funny kiwi guy (can’t remember his name). Highly recommend SW16, the whole group had a wonderful evening
Great place for a casual brunch/breakfast and calm evening. The location is very good and the interior is pretty calming. The service is great and waiters were friendly. Prices were reasonable.
Reduced to 4 starts because I wish the John O goat (hope I’m remembering that right?) salad had a larger serving and although I added chicken to my dish, it wasn’t enough, cold and slightly dry.
Wow, this place has got to be on your to-do list. We travelled 2 hours across London for their Sunday lunch and it was worth every minute of the journey!
We could have happily have lived on the cured stone bass and the beef carpaccio, however wait till you see and try their roasts. The Welsh lamb was so tender, perfect roasties as was the Yorkshire pudding- large and not too crisp.
Leave room for pudding!
Lovely eatery near Streatham Hill and really does deliver on all fronts.
Service and atmosphere are first rate and a pleasant change to most of the offerings in this area.
The menu is small but almost everything on it is excellent. We had the Arrabiata pasta and the shrimp pasta, and both were fantastic. They also have smaller bites for the "not too hungry brigade".
Dessert was the white chocolate Mousse and the stick toffee pudding (a waitress recommendation), and these were both virtually perfect.
Lunch for 2 came to £65 with tip.
Perhaps the easiest recommendation I have given for this part of town and it's a must visit if you are in the area and fancy a quick bite or something more substantial.
This place is such a hidden gem in Streatham! The atmosphere is so cosy and cute I absolutely loved it! They also do some of the best cocktails and food! They have a deal running where they give you wine and pasta for only £15 and the pasta itself was so good! Really captured that authentic Italian taste. It’s also a co working space so the perfect spot to work from while enjoying your food and drink.
