About This Pub
Ah, Stop Inn Time – it's one of those hidden gems in Brinsworth that you stumble upon and think, 'Why haven't I been here sooner?' From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got that classic pub charm with staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and the beer choices are spot on for anyone wanting to try something a bit different. I love how it's turned into a great place for bumping into old friends or even hosting a casual get-together, like one reviewer who had a brilliant family anniversary there. The outside seating adds a nice touch for when the weather's playing ball, making it feel even more inviting. On the flip side, it's a micro pub through and through, so space is at a premium – you might find yourself elbow-to-elbow on a lively afternoon, and the back area doesn't always hit the mark for atmosphere, which could dampen the mood if you're after something more upbeat. Overall, it's a solid choice for a relaxed pint in the evenings, but keep in mind it might not be the spot if you're looking for something spacious or buzzing from the get-go. I'd say it's worth a visit if you're in the area, just go with an open mind and maybe aim for a quieter time.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are absolutely lovely and provide a warm, welcoming service that makes you feel right at home.
-
They've got a cracking selection of beers and ales, perfect for anyone who loves exploring different brews.
-
The outside seating area is a real gem, ideal for enjoying a pint in the fresh air and catching up with mates on a sunny day.
-
It's a great spot for socialising or even small gatherings, with a good vibe that encourages a relaxed afternoon or evening.
Cons
-
Being a micro pub, the space inside can feel a bit tight, especially when it's busy, which might not suit everyone.
-
The rear area lacks a bit of atmosphere at times, making it feel a tad subdued or underwhelming on certain visits.
-
With opening times starting around teatime, it's not the best for a quick lunchtime stop if you're out and about earlier.

Great micro pub, friendly staff great service with a large selection of beers and lager
Been once, it’s called a micro pub for a reason, quite busy inside, but that just adds to the problem with the lack of space to start with. Rear drinking area with what can be described as a large shed? No atmosphere, like everyone had just been to a funeral. Only positive, old ales and the staff seemed nice enough
Called for a few drinks bumped into some friends we hadn't seen for years had a great afternoon good vibe great outside seating area
Stumbled upon this Christmasy looking micro pub and popped in. It was good value, very welcoming and friendly. Would go again if in the area 😀
Great micro pub with nice owners, we had a family anniversary party here and it couldn't have gone better so all thanks to the owner for that. Will definitely be visiting again.
