About This Pub

Ah, Roisin Dubh – what a gem of a spot tucked away in Kingsbury. I have to say, it's one of those places that really captures the heart of an old-school Irish pub, with its friendly faces and that unmistakable homely feel that makes you want to settle in for the evening. The staff are just brilliant, always up for a chat and making sure everyone feels included, which is such a nice touch after a long day. You'll love the lively atmosphere, especially if you catch one of their traditional events; it's all about good craic and a bit of sing-along fun that keeps things buzzing. On the flip side, though, it's a bit of a shame they don't offer any food – you're better off grabbing a bite beforehand or popping to one of the nearby spots. And fair play, it does get packed on busier nights, so if you're not keen on a crowd, you might want to time your visit right. Overall, it's a solid choice for anyone craving that authentic pub experience in London, but just keep those little niggles in mind for a smoother outing.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are absolutely brilliant and make you feel right at home, with their warm welcomes and top-notch service.
  • It has that genuine Irish charm, making it feel like you're back in Ireland for a pint and a chat.
  • The atmosphere is lively and full of character, especially with events like ceilidh bands that keep things entertaining.
  • It's a refreshing alternative to those generic chain pubs, offering a traditional, cosy spot that's hard to find these days.
Cons
  • They don't serve food, so if you're looking for a meal with your drinks, you'll need to head elsewhere.
  • It can get quite crowded at times, which might make it a bit of a squeeze if you're after more space.
  • There's no website or much online info, which could make it tricky to check opening times or details before you go.

Amazing place, better then generic pub chains. Dawn was very welcoming and provided excellent service, I can't fault the place. Lively atmosphere and never a dull moment.

Cracking little Irish pub. They cram them in but well worth a drink on a Saturday evening or Sunday afternoon. Been down when they put on a ceilidh band which makes for a great night often joining in on the more well known songs. The staff are extremely welcoming so you won't be disappointed. happy drinking
