About This Pub

Ah, Jameson's Bar – what a little gem in Edgware for anyone craving that authentic Irish pub feel. From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got this fantastic buzz about it, especially when there's a big game like Manchester United on the telly; the atmosphere just pulls you in, and you're bound to meet some sociable folks while you're there. The pints of Guinness are top drawer, and the staff go out of their way to make sure you're looked after, which really adds to the charm. On the flip side, though, the opening times seem a tad messy and not always straightforward, so you might end up scratching your head or missing out if you're not careful. Plus, without an official website, it's a bit of a faff to get the latest info. All in all, it's a solid spot for a relaxed evening with mates, as long as you keep those potential hitches in mind – I'd say it's worth a punt for the good vibes and affordable drinks, but go in with realistic expectations.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The Guinness here is absolutely spot-on – it's some of the best you'll find, making it a must-visit for any ale enthusiast.
  • The atmosphere is brilliant, especially when there's a live football match on; it's lively and sociable, perfect for catching up with friends.
  • Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready with a smile and great service that makes you feel right at home.
  • Drinks are reasonably priced, so you can enjoy a few without worrying too much about the cost – it's a budget-friendly spot.
Cons
  • The operating hours appear a bit confusing and inconsistent based on what's listed, which might leave you disappointed if you turn up at the wrong time.
  • There's no website to check updates or more details, making it harder to plan a visit or see what's on offer.
  • The current status suggests it might be closed sometimes, which could be a letdown, even though recent feedback paints a positive picture.
