About This Pub

Ah, Reis Grill & Bar – it's one of those places that just makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the food is where they truly shine; think juicy steaks cooked to perfection on that authentic charcoal grill, or those kebab platters that folks rave about, all made with fresh ingredients that leave you satisfied and smiling. The service is another highlight – the staff are friendly and on point, always ready to accommodate, like when they effortlessly handled a big birthday surprise without a hitch. And the atmosphere? It's got this elegant yet cosy vibe with pretty decor and live entertainment that adds a bit of magic to your night out. It's ideal if you're popping in with friends for a catch-up or even a larger group do. On the flip side, though, the cocktails aren't always up to par; they've got great presentation, but they can fall a tad flat in taste, which is a shame when you're after that perfect drink to go with your meal. Plus, every now and then, a dish might need a bit more seasoning to really bring out the flavours, as a couple of folks have mentioned. Overall, it's a solid choice for a memorable evening in Ruislip – the highs definitely outweigh the lows, and I'd say it's worth a visit if you're after good grub and a welcoming spot to unwind.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The food is absolutely spot-on, with mouth-watering grilled dishes, prime steaks, and kebabs that really hit the spot – it's all fresh and packed with flavour.
  • Service is warm and attentive; the team goes out of their way to make things special, like sorting music for a surprise party or being super helpful with recommendations.
  • The atmosphere is just lovely, with elegant decor and a touch of live entertainment that makes it feel welcoming and fun for a casual evening or a get-together with mates.
  • It's brilliant for groups, whether it's a birthday bash or just a night out, as they handle larger crowds with ease and keep everything running smoothly.
Cons
  • Cocktails can be a bit inconsistent – sometimes they're spot on, but other times they don't quite deliver that wow factor.
  • A few dishes might come across as under-seasoned, like the lamb chops in one visit, which could leave you reaching for the salt shaker more than you'd like.

This restaurant fully accommodated a surprise 30th birthday celebration group of 20 people with ease and professional. Changing the music to surprise my son was no issue. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. Piping hot and tasty.

Excellent food great service and ambience. Their kebab platters are very well cooked and accompanied by variety of tasty savoury sause. The king prawns were amazing. The cocktails were a bit miss but the presentation was impressive. Probably the best place in Ruislip to dine out.

Went with friends for some food and drinks. Very lovely atmosphere and pretty decor, the staff were very friendly and informative with different drinks etc. The food tasted nice and I could have had a bit more flavor to my liking but still overall nice. The drinks were good and nice and strong, i would definitely go back.

My friend and I decided to go for dinner at Reis , at the recommendation of some mutual friends. The place is lush , beautifully decorated , elegant and very clean. We were impressed by the quality of the food and the great service. The atmosphere is also divine , I can say this is now one of my favourite restaurants in London . Well done, guys . Thank you so much Eren for your great service. We will definitely come back.❤️

Nice bar and restaurant with fun atmosphere and live singers. I’ve been a few times for lunch and dinner. Their cocktails are delicious and food is quite nice too. However, on my most recent visit, I found the food (lamb chops and bone marrow) to be very under seasoned. Perhaps this is due to a chef change, but usually the food is excellent. Lovely staff and great service. Lovely place for birthday celebrations!!
