About This Pub
Ah, Browns Ruislip – it's one of those places that just feels welcoming from the moment you step in, with its nicely done-up interior and a menu that's got something for everyone, whether you're popping in for a hearty English breakfast or treating yourself to a cracking crème brûlée. From what I've gathered from folks' chats, the staff are absolute gems, always up for a friendly natter and making sure everything runs smoothly – I mean, who doesn't love that personal touch? The food's generally spot on, with rave reviews for the quality meats and overall flavours that leave you satisfied. But let's keep it real, it's not all perfect; on busier evenings, like Mother's Day, things can get a bit sluggish with the service, and there have been a few gripes about dishes turning out dry or lacking that extra oomph. Still, with such a strong overall buzz and plenty of happy evenings had, I'd say it's a solid choice for a get-together – just pop in a booking to steer clear of any queues, and you'll likely have a grand time.

Nice restaurant came for dinner with husband and teenager. Nicely decorated inside, good options on the menu and our waitress was lovely. Crème brulé was really good.
Delicious English breakfast! I didn’t try any of their other dishes and because I ordered something basic, I feel like Brown’s is basic (but still staple). The latte was fab too!
What a disaster! Came here to celebrate Mother’s Day dinner.
Service was slow and I guess this is expected considering its busy day.
I ordered for a Sunday Roast. They only served me a burnt overcooked completely dry chicken which was super tiny. The food lacked any kind taste or excitement.
The waitress was kind enough to replace my order with another one and the next was terrible too.
Absolutely loved the night. The service was 10/10, the staff couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. Our Starters and mains were very delicious, all top quality meat. Seating was very spacious and comfortable. Make sure you prebook as this place is always busy... in a good way.
Will say the menu print was bit small and hard to see especially with not the brightest of lights, but that sets the atmosphere.
Went for my birthday.
Had a lovely evening.
Food was excellent and we had a friendly and professional service from our waitress Florida, with whom we had a lovely and warm chat.
It was a great pleasure
