About This Pub

Ah, Redmond's of Dennistoun – it's one of those places that just hits the spot every time I pop in. From the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted with this warm, funky vibe that's perfect for catching up with mates or enjoying a solo pint. The staff are an absolute delight, always chatting away and making sure you're looked after, which really adds to the welcoming feel. Drinks-wise, they've nailed it with a brilliant selection of beers, cocktails, and those rotational drafts that keep things fresh and exciting – it's like a little adventure in a glass. And don't even get me started on the food; it's genuinely amazing, with heaps of tasty options including solid veggie choices that make it accessible for everyone. Plus, the events like DJ nights or quizzes give it that extra buzz, and the vinyl menu is a fun touch that makes you feel right at home. On the flip side, it does get mobbed on busier nights, so if you're after a peaceful evening, you might have to time your visit carefully. Overall, though, it's a solid spot that delivers on the fun without breaking the bank, and I'd happily recommend it for a great night out in Glasgow.

  • The operating hours seem a tad inconsistent from what I've seen, so it's worth double-checking before heading out.

Redmond's is an awesome place, with cool people. Walk in sit down and soak up the atmosphere. Brilliant selection of beers, great cocktails, and the food is amazing too. Also Choose some Vinyl from the menu to make the experience even better.

Redmond's is my happy place. I feel an enormous sense of wellbeing whenever I step inside. It deserves superlatives for all metrics you might measure a pub by. Food, fantastic. Drinks, delectable (a great selection of beers and an ever changing and tempting cocktail menu). Staff, superb. Atmosphere, amazing. The perfect pub for Dennistoun and we're incredibly lucky to have it as our local.

We were in Glasgow for the football and met some friends in here before the game. We were only in for an hour but got the sense of what a good pub this is. The staff are really friendly and the food was delicious. If we lived in Glasgow, this would become a regular place for us to go to.

The vibes here are great and the staff are so so nice - always a highlight of a visit to Redmonds. Loads of exciting bottles, cans and draft beers on offer. An exciting food menu too (with good veggie options). There’s always something going on here - from DJs to quizzes. One of my favourite bars in Glasgow and probably my favourite in Dennistoun!

Crikey this venue has gotten popular. On a Thursday evening it was absolutely packed. Couple of fridges for craft beer at the door. Eclectic music being played from vinyl in true hipster fashion. Staff on their A game and decor is warm and funky. Really good energy and a young crowd. Food looked good so I’ll be back for a second visit to try. Happy days
