Ah, the Railway Inn in West Bromwich – it's one of those places that really hits the spot for a good evening out. From the reviews I've seen, the food is a real highlight; that goat curry and mixed grill sound like absolute winners, and plenty of people rave about how tasty everything is. It's got this warm, relaxed atmosphere that's just perfect for unwinding with mates or picking up a family takeaway, especially on a Friday night. The folks running the place seem spot on too, always making sure you're well taken care of, which adds a nice personal touch. On the flip side, though, it's not all sunshine – one review mentioned being a bit let down by the large grill, which felt overpriced for what arrived on the plate, with smaller portions and no little extras like salad or free poppadoms that you'd expect. Still, with an overall solid rating, it's worth popping in if you're nearby, just keep in mind it might not be the best value every time. All in all, it's a decent spot for a pint and a bite, but go in with your eyes open for the occasional off note.

Cons
-

Some meals, like the large grill at £21.50, don't quite deliver on value – it was a bit skimpy with just two lamb chops and no extras like salad or free poppadoms.

There might be inconsistencies with what's expected, as some folks have found certain dishes lacking in portions or freebies that you'd hope for in a pub setting.

Disappointed with the large grill for 21.50 only 2 lamb chops and tikka breast wings and some sesh kebab and some fish which was tasty. Have had better value for money. Also no salad! which is expected free and no free poppadoms. Not bad and will return for a curry which are nice.
