About This Pub
Ah, let me tell you about the Premier Inn in West Bromwich Central – it's one of those places that feels like a reliable old friend, you know? From what I've gathered from folks' experiences, the staff really shine through; they're polite, attentive, and go out of their way to make your visit enjoyable, which always lifts the spirits after a long day. The rooms are typically spotless and the beds are just right for sinking into after exploring the local sights like the Sandwell Valley or grabbing a bite nearby. Plus, the food options are a winner – hearty and affordable, ideal for fueling up without fuss. On the flip side, though, it's not all smooth sailing; some rooms can get nippy, especially with those high ceilings and radiators that don't pack much heat, and there are a few outdated bits like awkwardly placed plug sockets that might frustrate you if you're trying to set up your tech. We've heard tales of the odd maintenance issue, like a grimy bath or missing soap, which can put a dampener on things. All in all, it's a solid choice for a budget-friendly overnight or casual meal in the area, but it'd be even better with a bit of TLC to sort out those niggles. If you're heading that way, I'd say give it a go for the friendly atmosphere, just keep expectations realistic for the finer details.
Pros and Cons
Pros

-
Rooms are generally clean and the beds are comfy, perfect for catching some proper rest after a night out or a day exploring West Bromwich.
-
The food on offer is tasty and there's plenty of it, making it a solid choice for a bite to eat without breaking the bank.
-
It's in a handy spot, close to things like Sandwell Valley Country Park and the town centre, so you can easily pop out for a wander.
Cons
-
Some rooms feel a bit outdated and chilly, with high ceilings and radiators that don't quite do the job, especially on colder days.
-
There are niggles like plug sockets not being near the bed, which can be a pain if you've got things like phone chargers or sleep gear to plug in.
-
A few reports of maintenance slip-ups, such as grubby baths or no soap in the dispensers, which takes away from the overall comfort.
-
The car park spaces are on the small side, making it tricky if you're driving something a bit larger.

Rooms need an update. The plug sockets aren't near the bed and I have sleep equipment that needs plugging in. Rooms felt cold as the ceilings are high and the one radiator is under the large single glazed windows, where the heavy curtains hang over it. You've somehow got to hope the curtains stay pressed against the window as there is no ledge. Nice staff, easy check in process. Reasonably priced but should be cheaper until upgrades are considered.
Room is freezing and the heating doesn't work. The bath was grey from grime, no soap in the dispenser for the toilet it looks like someone went to replace it and forgot. No plug sockets by the bed which is know is only a minor thing. The people working here were very nice. The front could be more lit up to make it feel safer and to know you are in the right place.
Me and my family stayed here last night. All The staff were very friendly and helpful and made us all feel welcome. The service was excellent. The rooms were nice and clean and the beds was comfortable. The food was great and there was plenty on offer. We would definitely stay here again.
Ideal location for our needs, hotel clean throughout and bed comfy :-)
We had eve meal and breakfast here and Vanessa who seems to work all areas (including checking us in) was fabulous. She's a real asset to this hotel and wish to thank her for helping us enjoy our stay there. We loved the Bubble & Squeak ;-)
Literally only booked to get ready for a night out. Tidy and clean. Polite and friendly staff. Room was freezing cold and temperature could not be changed. One heater which was very lightweight and did not heat the room up even after 3 hours. Car park spaces are tiny so could not park our car and get out!
