About This Pub

So, if you're in Coventry and looking for a spot to pop in for a pint, Old Dyers Arms is one of those classic old-school pubs that really captures that community feel. I reckon it's spot on for a relaxed evening – the staff are dead lovely, and it's great to see it's pet-friendly, meaning you can bring your dog along without any fuss. They've got some cracking beers on tap, like a top-notch Guinness, and their Sunday dinners sound like a proper treat. Plus, with events like bands or discos on Saturdays, it's got that extra buzz that makes it fun for gatherings or a meal with mates. On the flip side, though, a few folks have mentioned it can get a bit whiffy in places, and the pool table's out of action, which is a pity if you're after a game. Overall, it's a solid choice for an inexpensive night out, but it might benefit from a bit more TLC to shine even brighter – worth keeping in mind if you're after something pristine.

Visited on the 12th November, pub stinks of urine, a beautiful little dog urinating all around the bar.. Pool table don't work. Apart from the two ladies, one who served us not a very accommodating place.. If they spent as much time on cleaning / maintaing the place as they did in the showpiece for remembrance day / queen it be lovely. Oh it was freezing in their no heating.. Never to return
