About This Pub

Ah, North Bar – it's one of those places that just feels like a proper local gem in Harrogate, you know? From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the beer selection is absolutely spot on, with a fantastic range of craft and real ales that'd make any beer lover's day. The outdoor seating area is a real winner, especially on a sunny afternoon when you can sit back and soak up the vibe with a cold one in hand. And the staff? They're just lovely, always up for a chat and making sure everything runs smoothly – plus, it's great that dogs are welcome, so you don't have to leave your furry companion at home. On the flip side, it's not all perfect; there have been a few mentions of maintenance problems, like some facilities needing a bit of TLC, which could spoil the experience if you're caught short. Overall, though, it's a solid choice for a casual get-together, as long as you keep those little niggles in mind – I'd say it's worth a visit for the positives alone, but go in with realistic expectations for a balanced night out.

A really pleasant place to go and enjoy a pint or two. Outdoor seating area in the sunshine as well as comfortable seats inside. The guy that served us was lovely and gave off the sort of vibe that he enjoyed his job. Table service was offered, but that would have prevented us from umming and ahhing over the huge choice of beers! Board games available to play (as well as Uno style games) Nice clean toilets- always a bonus!

Always a delight. A fantastic range of Craft and Real Ales and plenty of window space to watch the world go by. On my latest visit felt the place could do with some maintenance. The Disabled Toilet was out of order as was one of the Gents toilets. In addition for a brewery there was no North beers on.

Great range of beers, cool decor and friendly staff. Lovely place to relax with an interesting pint and watch the world go by through the huge windows. Plus, they also do nice coffee and a small selection of cakes. What's not to like!
