About This Pub

Ah, No 10 Bar & Kitchen – it's one of those hidden gems in Blackpool that really hits the mark for a relaxed evening out. From what I've gathered from folks who've been, the Thai food is a standout; it's fresh, packed with flavour, and the portions are generous enough to make you wonder how they keep prices so reasonable, especially with those handy discounts on weekdays. Pair that with their impressive range of ales and other drinks, and you've got a proper pub experience that's earned its stripes in CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide. The staff are just lovely, always on hand with a smile and quick service that makes you feel looked after. On the flip side, it's not without its quirks – the seating can feel a bit tight, like you're squeezed in on those long tables, and there've been tales of the odd mix-up with orders that might leave you waiting a bit longer than you'd like. Plus, if you're sat at the back, the music might not carry well, and it's a pity they're shut on Mondays when you fancy a pint. All in all, it's a solid choice for anyone after good food and drinks in a friendly setting, but it's worth popping in with realistic expectations to enjoy the best bits without the surprises.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The Thai food is absolutely brilliant – fresh, authentic, and with generous portions that leave you feeling well satisfied.
  • They've got a cracking selection of ales, including some top-notch cask options that earned them a spot in CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide.
  • The staff are ever so friendly and efficient, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.
  • Great value deals, like the discounts on starters and mains during the week, make it a wallet-friendly spot for a bite and a drink.
  • It's got a lively vibe with occasional live music and a beer garden out front when the weather's nice.
Cons
  • The seating can be a bit snug, especially if you're in a larger group or have broader shoulders – you might end up feeling a tad squished.
  • There have been a few hitches with service, like food getting forgotten, which can put a damper on things.
  • In busier spots, it might be hard to catch the music if you're tucked away at the back, making for a less than ideal atmosphere.
  • They're closed on Mondays, which is a shame if you're planning a mid-week outing.
  • The layout isn't always perfect for larger gatherings, so you might not get the full experience if it's packed.

Food was fantastic. Great value with the discounted menu. We were sat at the back as a large group. Unfortunately couldn't hear the music unless you were near the bar.

The food here is fantastic proper aromatic and dead tasty the seating arrangement tho it tight if you have broad shoulders and your siting on those long tables you'll be like a sardine lovely little place tho, table service would be nice my only gripe was the fact my food was forgotten and didn't come out till I asked were it was rest of the group had almost finished there's then the waitress knocked a glass of over on the table all over me she did apologize and it was replaced 👍👍

Cracking little bar, came here for food n drinks with friends , OMG the Thai food was amazing .. portions sizes were generous.. quick on service . It was busy in the main part of the bar so we were placed in the back area which was perfect for eating . Drinks reasonably priced ..

Great real ale pub. Friendly, efficient staff. Interesting choice of cask ale. Thai food served if that sort of thing takes your fancy. Near to Bloomfield road football stadium for home matches. Occasional live music/DJ. Beer garden at front when weather allows.
