About This Pub
Ah, the Nags Head – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a local gem, you know? From what I've gathered from the reviews and a quick look at the place, it's got this fantastic vibe where you can sink into a comfy spot with a top-notch pint of ale or try out their range of drinks while catching up with mates. The staff are absolute stars, always on hand to make sure everything runs smoothly, and the atmosphere really comes alive during events like beer festivals or when they're showing live sports – it's buzzing without being overwhelming. Plus, the outdoor area is brilliant for sunnier days, and it's great that they welcome dogs, making it feel inclusive for everyone. On the flip side, if you're someone who prefers a telly-free zone for a proper chinwag, the screens in the bar might put you off a bit. And watch out for those Sunday hours; they vary, so it's worth double-checking to avoid any disappointment. Overall, it's a solid choice for a night out, with more highs than lows, and I'd say it's well worth popping in for a proper pub experience – just go with an open mind and you'll likely have a brilliant time.

Great pub! Good beers and great service
A fantastic little pub with beer garden and TV outside they show live sports from dart to football wide variety of drinks friendly staff always a good cracking atmosphere
Love. This little pub
Travelled to meet friends at the Autumn beer festival. Found the place starting to fill up, got a seat with a good view of the television, so we could watch the England v Australia Rugby match. The place filled up towards the start of the game, which gave it a great atmosphere. The beers on the beer festival were not to our liking, so reverted to beers from the bar.
A proper traditional pub with a good choice of real ale and as far as I am aware a few nights aweek has a pop up street food guy in the kitchen. I struck it lucky and tried some out which was really good. Staff were really nice. Did have a TV in the bar area... personally not a fan of tvs in pubs but it didn't affect us as we were in the lounge area. 😊
What a place! Amazing atmosphere and a great selection of drinks; especially beers/ales. Let's not forget... lots of indoor and outdoor seating, dog friendly, very friendly staff, clean toilets and the best bit; a great selection of pizzas, chips and burgers! Hope you enjoy the pics of them as much as I enjoyed the real thing!
