About This Pub

Oh, let me tell you about the Myllet Arms – it's one of those local gems in Greenford that just feels like a proper community hub, you know? From what I've gathered from folks' experiences, the staff are an absolute delight; they're attentive and go the extra mile, whether it's sorting out a birthday party or just making sure your Sunday roast is spot on. The food, especially that carvery, is spot-on for a satisfying meal without any fuss, and it's all set in a family-friendly environment with a beer garden that's perfect for soaking up the sun or watching the footie. It's got that homely vibe that makes you want to linger over a pint. On the flip side, though, watch out for those little add-ons that can bump up the bill, and if you're popping in on a busy day, you might find yourself waiting around a bit, which isn't ideal after a long week. All in all, it's a solid choice for a laid-back get-together – honest, it's got its charms and a few quirks, but I'd say it's worth a visit if you're in the area and fancy a no-nonsense pub experience.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The service here is absolutely brilliant – staff like Ash, Rhys, and Alisha go out of their way to make you feel right at home, which really adds to the warm vibe.
  • The food's a real winner, especially the carvery; it's hearty, tasty pub grub that leaves you with a full belly and a smile.
  • It's super family-friendly with things like indoor and outdoor play areas, making it a great spot for a relaxed day out with the little ones.
  • They've got a fantastic beer garden and screens for Sky Sports and TNT, so it's perfect for catching the big games like the Women's Euros or rugby tours.
  • Being inexpensive and conveniently located near Hanwell Zoo, it's an easy choice for a casual meet-up without breaking the bank.
Cons
  • There might be extra charges for some add-ons, like pigs in blankets with the carvery, which can feel a bit cheeky when you're already paying.
  • It can get quite busy, particularly on Sundays, so you might have to wait for a table or deal with a bit of a queue, even if the staff handle it well.
  • While the atmosphere is generally chilled, it sticks to standard pub offerings, so if you're after something more adventurous or fancy, it might not quite hit the mark.

Recent Reviews

We recently hosted our child’s birthday party at Myllet Arms, and it was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, everything was so well organised and stress-free. A special thank you to Ash, who went above and beyond to make sure the party ran smoothly – nothing was too much trouble, and his attention to detail really made a difference. The soft play area was clean, safe, and kept the kids entertained for hours, which made the day even more enjoyable for everyone. The food platter provided for the adults was delicious and we had so many compliments from the other parents about how good everything was! Thank you again!!

First time for a Sunday carvery with a family group. Even though it was busy the waiters quickly cleared a table for us. You go to the bar to order your food and note that there is an additional charge for the pigs in blankets if you want to add them to your carvery. You are able to order other meals if you want. It is good to also order and pay for drinks at the same time due to how long the quese gets. You will need to take drinks back to your table before then getting your food as you carry your plate along the buffet. There was a long queue for the carvery but the portions were generous and there was the usual options of beef, turkey and pork as well as roast and mashed potato, sprouts, cauliflower cheese and red and green cabbage to name a few. The yourkshire puddings were huge. Went up for additional potatoes too. The football was on the telly so we were able to relax and never felt rushed. The kids did go to the play area but it was quite crowded and not much fun for the youngest one who was pushed. Apart from that we would be back as the food tasted great. Outside there was a seating area and plenty of free parking but make sure to enter your registration when you arrive.

Alisha, Niaja and Shane did a great job serving us. My family of 4 went to have a dinner and we were well cared for. They were friendly and very attentive. The food was great and the vibe within the pub very homesy!

Lovely pub next to a premier inn where we were staying. Normal pub food with a great carvery. We eat in here twice and both times I had the carvery. Lena was our waitress, very polite and friendly nothing was too much trouble. Not too busy at evening times. Good food and drinks. Outside seating and TV for events.
