About This Pub

Ah, Miller's Tap – it's one of those pubs that really knows how to draw you in with its mix of craft beers, tasty cocktails, and all the live sport you could wish for, especially during big events like the rugby or football. I've heard from mates that it's fantastic for group outings or celebrating something special, like a birthday, with options for bottomless brunches or private hires that make it feel tailored just for you. The staff can be absolute gems, going above and beyond to make your night memorable, and at moderate prices, it's a no-brainer for a relaxed evening on the High Street. But, let's be honest, it's not all sunshine and pints – there have been a few grumbles about the service not always being up to scratch, with one person mentioning a rather brusque manager that left a sour taste. Plus, if you're counting on those special deals, they might not always pan out, which could leave you a bit miffed on a quiet night. Overall, though, if you're up for a bit of fun and don't mind the odd hiccup, it's a cracking spot to pop into – just keep your expectations balanced and you'll likely have a great time.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The selection of craft beers and cocktails is spot on, with great deals like 2-4-1 offers that make it a fun spot for a night out.
  • It's brilliant for watching live sport or hosting events, with plenty of options for groups, birthdays, or even bottomless brunches – perfect if you're after a lively vibe.
  • The staff can be really welcoming and go the extra mile, especially for larger gatherings, making you feel right at home.
  • With its central location on Uxbridge High Street and moderate prices, it's an easy choice for a casual get-together or a cheeky drink after work.
Cons
  • Service can be inconsistent, with some reports of rude staff or a manager who doesn't always hit the mark, which might put a dampener on your evening.
  • Promotions like cocktail deals aren't always honoured, as one visit showed it being overlooked when the place was quiet, which feels a bit disappointing.
  • It seems like the overall management might be slipping, based on feedback about the place not being as reliable as it used to be.
  • While it's open most days, the timings can vary, and if you're hoping for a buzzing atmosphere, an empty night might not live up to expectations.

Have been here a few times, used to be good though seems management of the place is going down hill. Went on a Bank holiday evening, was empty.. possibly why staff didn't honour the 2-4-1 cocktail promotion.

We came for unlimited brunch , there were 6 of us , all the staff were very friendly and nice, Apart from the manger Oana who was extremely Rude to us as soon as we sat down , she seemed to have a chip on her shoulder all night . She took our first drink order , to go on to tell us there is no big bottles Prosecco left , We can have the few small bottles left . My friend a while later , went on to say to her how strange to do unlimited brunch and run out of Prosecco! We even mentioned there a Tesco nearby they could have gone and bought some from. They she continued to ague wiv us ! Her attitude and rudeness was awful . She should NOTbe serving customers. She is Not setting a good example to the rest of the staff , who I must say were extremely helpful and nice . Such a shame as it good value and Oana ruined our night with her attitude and rudeness .☹️

We celebrated my birthday at the Millers Tap Uxbridge on Saturday and i wouldn't usually write a review but i couldn't not on this occasion. The staff went above and beyond for us and we was a big table of 18! i was a bit worried as cocktails are on offer and everyone wanting different things could of held up the service but it didn't at all. Big shout out to Oana she was amazing made it a great experience for us even taking group pictures on a chair so we could all be in it haha. So many of my friends have said that they will be returning. The girls behind the bar were also great service with smiles all round and we cant wait to return.
