About This Pub
Oh, let me tell you about the Market Inn – it's one of those pubs that just hits the spot for a good night with mates. From what I've gathered from the reviews, the staff are absolute stars, always up for a chat and making sure everyone feels welcome, which really sets the tone for a great evening. You've got this brilliant range of drinks on offer, like their real ales that folks rave about, and at prices that won't break the bank, it's perfect for a casual catch-up. The live music nights with local bands add a real buzz, turning it into a fun spot without being overwhelming. It's also kept really tidy and welcoming, even for dogs, so it's versatile for different groups. On the flip side, it's a shame there's no easy way to look it up online or call ahead, as that could save a bit of hassle. And while it's charming in its own way, being a smaller venue in an area where other pubs have shut down, it might not always have that full-on lively crowd you're after. All in all, though, it's a solid choice if you're in the mood for something authentic and community-oriented – I'd say give it a go and see for yourself!
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in
-
A fantastic selection of beers and real ales, including stouts and IPAs, all at a great price like £3.20 a pint
-
Lively atmosphere with regular live music from local bands, which really adds to the fun
-
It's spotlessly clean, nicely decorated, and even dog-friendly, so you can bring your furry friend along
-
As a hidden gem in Huthwaite, it's got that cosy, community feel that's perfect for a relaxed night out
Cons
-
There's no website or phone number listed, which makes it a bit tricky to check details or get in touch beforehand
-
The operating hours seem a tad confusing with varying times, so you might want to double-check before heading over
-
Being a small local spot, it might not have the same buzz as bigger venues, and it's one of the few left in the area, which could feel a bit quiet at times

First time customer, will definitely be going again. Great staff and amazing people
Good little pub, most local people call it the Clubby, it's been here for as long as I can remember... Pleased it's still here as nearly if not all other Huthwaite local pubs and venues have closed over the years...
It's a popular Live Music venue where local bands and local artists perform regularly...
Also there's a comfortable beer garden at the rear to relax outside on a good weather day...
Every Wednesday night is Open mic night...
Well worth popping in if in the area, though it doesn't begin until around 9,30pm...
Give it a go...
Oh! And dogs are welcome with responsible owners...
