About This Pub
So, I had a great time checking out Mannions Prince Arthur – it's one of those proper old-school Irish pubs that just draws you in with its welcoming energy. The atmosphere is spot on, full of that community spirit where you can easily strike up a conversation, and the staff are brilliant, always ready with a smile and quick service that makes you feel looked after. Prices are fair too, especially for a solid pint of Guinness, and the space is nicely set up with a pool table and TVs for catching the latest match, which is ideal for a laid-back evening. On the downside, though, the decor could really use a bit of an update; it's feeling a bit tired, and some seats are literally falling apart, which takes away from the comfort. Plus, it might be a bit quiet during the week, so if you're hoping for a buzzing night, you might want to plan for the weekends. All in all, it's a hidden gem in Tottenham with plenty to love, but with a few tweaks, it could be even better – definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and fancy a genuine pub experience.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The atmosphere is absolutely buzzing and welcoming, with a real community vibe that makes you feel right at home.
-
The staff are top-notch – friendly, attentive, and always up for a chat, which really adds to the experience.
-
Drinks are reasonably priced, especially the Guinness, making it a great spot for a casual pint without breaking the bank.
-
Spacious interior with fun extras like a pool table and screens for sports, perfect for a relaxed hangout or watching the game.
-
It's got that authentic Irish pub charm, with a historical feel that's just charming and inviting.
Cons
-
The decor is a bit dated and could do with a revamp – it feels like it's showing its age in places.
-
Some of the seats are worn out and coming apart, which isn't the most comfortable for settling in.
-
It can be quite quiet on weekdays, so if you're after a lively crowd, you might find it a tad subdued.
-
Beer options are limited, like only one cask ale on offer, which might not suit those wanting more variety.

This pub is in need of a revamp to the decor. I'd say the customers love it but the seats are coming apart. Great atmosphere. Fun for all.
This place is an absolute gem! Proper old school boozer with a real community feel, the way it should be! Stumbled across it by accident and the staff were so kind, genuine and welcoming. Couldn’t recommend it more highly!
Top Spot – Great Atmosphere and Even Better Staff
Mannions is hands-down one of the best bars around. The layout is smart and inviting, but what really makes it stand out is the staff. Every time I’ve been, the team behind the bar has been helpful, attentive, and genuinely polite – they go out of their way to make sure everyone’s looked after.
To top it off, the owner is a former professional athlete and an absolute legend – full of stories and great craic. You always feel welcome here, whether you’re dropping in for a quiet pint or a full night out. Can’t recommend it enough!
I took my mum here on our walk around the area. Very reasonably priced and they serve an excellent pint of Guinness. Large pub interior with screens and a pool table. Quiet on a weekday afternoon, horseracing on one TV and a classic western on the other . One cask ale available . A couple of locals chatting at the bar . It certainly has an atmosphere which many pubs lack these days

Mannion’s Prince Arthur Is an Irish Pub located in the southeast corner of Tottenham. The nearest Tube is Tottenham Hale, Seven Sisters is also close by.
This Victorian built boozer was built in 1866 and is run by former Roscommon GAA football star Michael and his good lady wife Rose.
This is good size one bar pub that has some beautiful detailing and unique features. At the heart of the pub is the servery which has intricate carved panels, a solid counter and brass hand and foot rails. At the far end of the bar is a pool table and a couple of large screen TV’s. To the right of the servery is a stage with a fantastic portrait picture of the Guv’nor. Around the panelled walls are a collection of photos of Michael’s time playing Gaelic Football and a great painting of the pub's owners riding a horse through the Irish countryside. One standout feature here, is the mural that runs around just under the detailed ceiling.
The beer selection was solid and included one cask ale and of course Guinness. I decided on a pint of the black stuff, my pint was excellent, price point was very reasonable at under a fiver. This is a wet-led pub that doesn’t serve food but there are plenty of Tayto’s if you’re feeling peckish.
We arrived bang on opening for a few pints before heading off to Tottenham’s ground to watch the Rugby. The pub started filling up with a few loyal locals and a young crowd in for a game of pool. The atmosphere was welcoming with a local pub feel, the horse racing was on one tv and footy was on the other. I had a lovely chat with the owners who were nicest people you could ever meet.
Well, what an outstanding boozer @mannions_n15 is, if it wasn’t for the fact I was off to the rugby, I could have stayed here all day. This is a proper community pub that looks after its own and those from further a field. The hospitality was second to none and the Guinness was as good as it gets. This is a must visit London pub.
