About This Pub

Ah, Luxe Lounge – it's one of those places that really tries to bring a touch of class to Nuneaton, and honestly, it does a fair job with its impressive cocktails and that warm, friendly service from the staff. I can see why folks rave about it for birthdays or a night out; the music sets a great tone, and the decor makes you feel like you're somewhere a bit special, not just your average local spot. But, let's keep it real, it's not all smooth sailing – some mates have had a tough time getting through the door due to capacity rules, which can be a bit frustrating when you're all dressed up and ready to go. Plus, if you're more of a beer person, you might find the options a tad boring compared to the cocktail focus. Overall, it's worth a punt if you're up for something a bit different, but maybe check ahead or go on a quieter night to avoid any hassles. What do you reckon – fancy giving it a try sometime?

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The cocktails are absolutely spot on – a great range with something for everyone, and they're reasonably priced too.
  • The staff are lovely and really attentive; shout out to folks like Rachel who make you feel right at home with their friendly service.
  • It's got a fantastic atmosphere with good music and vibes that make for a memorable night out, especially for celebrations.
  • The decor is nice and there's plenty of space, giving it a proper upscale feel without feeling cramped.
Cons
  • It can be a right faff getting in sometimes, with capacity issues meaning you might be turned away even if it doesn't look full.
  • Feels a bit out of place in Nuneaton, trying to be all fancy when the local scene might not quite match up, which could put some off.
  • The beer selection is a bit lacklustre – it's mostly about cocktails and spirits, so if that's not your thing, you might feel short-changed.
  • There have been a few grumbles about waits and door policies, especially early on, which can spoil the fun before you've even stepped inside.

Was looked after by a lovely lady called Rachel last weekend, myself and my family had an amazing time to celebrate my brother’s birthday. Drinks were amazing, service was spot on, music was fantastic and the vibes were great. Will 100% be back, thankyou Rachel for an unforgettable night!

Reasonable prices. Good range of cocktails - tried 4 different ones. Not busy on Thursday night, but not empty. Plenty of space and nice decor. There is beer or wine if you don't like cocktails. Friendly staff.

A very strange place for Nuneaton. Trying to position itself as an upmarket bar, but remember this is in a town where they have to put bouncers on the doors at McDonalds during the hours of daylight. Mainly serves cocktails and spirits although some (not at all interesting) keg beer is also available. Cannot see this place lasting long in a town centre otherwise dominated by bookmakers, halal pigeon kebab joints and charity shops.

Went in on the opening weekend and yes there was a short wait to get in due to being at capacity, reading some reviews I see people were less patient and yes even though there is open space, it is classed as seating arrangements to prevent turning this luxury bar into a grotty nightclub. Would definitely recommend reasonably priced drinks and friendly attentive bar tenders. Ignore the bad reviews at all costs and give this place a chance it’s their first week!

I came with a group of my friends on Friday night, 7 of us in total all in our 30's-40s, dressed smartly etc as we had been out for dinner prior to celebrate my newly asked bridesmaids. We were told by the doorman they were 'at capacity, even though we could see clearly through the windows without trying it was half empty. The manager eventually intervened and let us in after a request to speak with him, but I have to say, if you want people with some maturity, decency and more importantly money to spend, to want to come in again, patronising them and treating them like underage teenagers by lying to their face is grossly inappropriate and insulting, and not the way to do it. I would rather get the train to Birmingham to drink cocktails than take the chance to be treated like that again. Very poor I'm afraid.
