BAR19 BLACKPOOL

Bar19 is AMAZING!! Between the bar staff, manager, the DJ and the door staff they run a very great ship! Atmosphere on point, banter is compulsory and the toilets are immaculate!!! Bar19 is a definite must go when your in Blackpool 😊

Took my 18yr old son to his first Pride and I have to say we had an amazing time my son was asked for his Id staff was good fun and welcoming and the atmosphere was great. This was a safe space for my son to be himself and I can’t thank the team Bar 19 enough.

I was visiting Blackpool for work and decided to have a feel of the nightlife there, using recommendations from Google, I chose to go to Bar19. I got into Bar19 at about 01:10am on Friday 11th April, 2025 and was having a good time until the doorman walked up to me at about 2:20am and asked me to grab my coat and leave the bar, stating that the manager wants me out because she’s been getting negative complaints about me. This was a very shocking statement to me, but not wanting to create a scene I picked up my coat and then walked out. While outside, I asked the doorman for some explanation but he said he didn’t have any as he was working on instructions from the manager. I asked to see the manager, the response was that she was really busy on the bar and wouldn’t be able to speak to me unless I was willing to wait for up to 3 hours. I’m not one to play the victim card but might be important to note that I was the only person of color in the bar, and I’d hate to think that’s the reason I was asked to leave. Everyone deserves to feel welcome and respected in public spaces, and sadly, that wasn’t my experience here. I’ll be writing to the bar officially and copying the council as well.

Highly recommend this venue. We were in Bar19 last night. What a great fun atmosphere. The DJ was so funny making us laugh with banter. Staff were really friendly and offered us some great deals that they had on. We were there for a few hours and it was the highlight of our evening to be honest. The DJ has got some dance moves going on too 😄 It is definitely a Gay friendly venue aswell. My nephew was with us and with his partner and were made to feel very comfortable. So we will definitely see you next weekend Bar19.

This bar is truly a gem! From the moment we stepped inside, the friendly staff made us feel right at home. We’ve visited several times, and each experience just gets better. The music sets the perfect vibe, and the drinks are affordable. The atmosphere is lively and inviting, so much so that after exploring other places, we found ourselves returning to Bar19 because we simply couldn't resist the charm it offers. We can't wait to come back and create more wonderful memories with all of you.
