About This Pub
Ah, Leverton & Halls – it's one of those places in Bournville that really captures the essence of a proper British cafe, where you can pop in for a hearty breakfast or a quick lunch and feel right at home. I've heard from mates that the food is a real highlight; those homemade burgers and fresh specials are packed with flavour and made from quality ingredients that leave you satisfied and smiling. The garden area's a gem too, with its coverings and heaters making it usable all year round – imagine tucking into a meal on a sunny afternoon or even when the weather's playing up. Prices are fair, which is always a plus for a casual outing. But, let's be honest, it's not all perfect; some folks have had a rough time with the service, mentioning slow waits, mistaken orders, or even being told food's off-limits after being assured otherwise, which can put a dampener on things. There are also a few gripes about portions not quite measuring up or drinks like coffee falling a bit flat. Still, with an overall vibe that's generally upbeat, I'd say it's worth giving it a go if you're in the area – just keep your expectations in check and you might just have a cracking visit!

-
Certain items, like the coffee or specific ingredients, don't always hit the mark, coming across as a bit underwhelming.

It can feel inconsistent overall, with experiences varying from brilliant to a bit disappointing depending on the visit.

Have had lunch here a couple of times as it’s local and found it lovely on both occasions.
The food is very tasty and is also very reasonably priced. Service has also been very friendly every time I visited. Today I sat in the gardens round the back as it was sunny which is highly recommend if you also visit in a pleasant day.
Great food, very reasonable prices. Friendly, swift service, with a lovely setting!
Food is great but I have to say service it terrible, slow and always wrong. I lowered my score from 5 to 2 because of the service in the hope they address this and I'll put it back to 5
Great selection of healthy and traditional breakfast food.
Coffee is superb and reall butter on the fresh bread.
I wish I'd found the place years ago
It's okay. For the price, could have done with another, local sausage instead of the cheap one supplied. A few more beans and some nice local slice. Bacon was excellent. A pepper grinder and a teaspoon with the drink would have been good. Mocha didn't taste of much, either coffee nor chocolate. Did good gluten free toast.
Went here last weekend around 1pm. We asked if food was being served on arrival and they said yes, then after our coffees we tried to order and were told quite bluntly “no”. Another table near us had the same thing said to them, yet the two tables that arrived after us ordered and received food off the menu. Shame too, it was my first time there after wanting to go for so long, and the garden is absolutely lovely.
