About This Pub
Ah, Junction – what a lovely spot it's become! I have to say, from what I've heard from folks who've been there lately, it's like they've breathed new life into the place. The food is a standout; whether it's a massive breakfast that keeps you going all day or a comforting evening meal, it's all about fresh, tasty options that don't break the bank. The team behind the bar are just brilliant, always up for a chat and making sure everyone feels included, which really adds to that warm, community feel. They've got events like bikers' nights that bring people together, and it's clear they're putting in the effort to make it the heart of the area. On the flip side, it's a bit of a shame about the website being unreliable – might put you off if you're planning ahead. And while the recent reviews are glowing, that overall rating hints at some past wobbles, so it might not be perfect for everyone just yet. All in all, if you're after a friendly pub with good grub and a welcoming atmosphere, I'd give Junction a go; it's got that genuine, down-to-earth charm that makes you want to come back for more.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The food here is absolutely brilliant – from hearty breakfasts to tasty meals like lasagna and burgers, everything's fresh, flavourful, and comes in generous portions that leave you satisfied.
-
The staff and landlady are so welcoming and full of energy; it's like chatting with old mates while you're there, and they're always up for a good natter about their plans.
-
It's become a real community hub with regular events and activities, like bikers' nights, that create a lovely atmosphere and make you feel right at home.
-
Drinks selection is spot on, with everything from great coffees to beers on tap, and the prices are moderate, offering good value for a proper pub experience.
Cons
-
The website seems to be playing up and isn't accessible right now, which might make it tricky if you're trying to check out the menu or events before heading over.
-
While the recent buzz is all positive, the overall rating suggests there might have been a few hiccups in the past, perhaps from when the pub was under different management, so it could still be ironing out the odd detail.

This pub had been run down by previous owners but the new landlady and her team are full of energy and ideas in making this pub the heart of the community! The food and drinks selection are very good and with regular events and activities to engage the community. The change already has been amazing, they are gradually redecorating too. Tuesday is quiz night and shouldn’t be missed! Definitely give it a go!
Update- this pub is my favorite! It’s nicely busy with a lovely friendly atmosphere. They are brilliant at hosting your events too and the food is fantastic. The hospitality is flawless. 👌🏻
Had a lovely evening meal here, very tasty I had the lasagna chips and salad (huge) my partner had the wrap, chips and salad very tasty and my youngest the biggest portion of pasta accommodating his dietary needs. The staff are so friendly and the pub looks great with it's new decked area. Will 100% coming back. Food was also very reasonable 😊
Our first time trying breakfast at the Junction and it certainly won’t be the last! The breakfasts were hot and fresh, and full of flavour. The coffees were really nice and a good size.
The staff were very friendly and the landlady was a pleasure to chat to about all her plans for the pub.
We look forward to visiting for other meals and trying out their events.
They have just started doing breakfast and oh my.....WOW.
Excellent quality products , quantity is plentiful and price is really really good.
Really friendly service. Will definitely be back soon.
Large breakfast in the photo , also do a belly buster for £9.99 which is bigger. Filled me up for the whole day.
Tonight was the first bikers night, and it was such a lovely atmosphere. The food that was put on, burgers and hotdogs amazing and seemed to go down really well. The coffees were flowing alongside the soft drinks the non alcoholic bottled larger and ciders with the beers on tap. Can’t wait so see this grow week by week. Staff are helpful and friendly will accommodate most request within reason. Lovely place.
