About This Pub
Ah, J.J. Moon's, what a classic Wetherspoon spot it is! I've got to say, it's one of those places that just hits the mark for a laid-back day out or a cheeky evening pint. The staff are always on form, making sure everything runs smoothly, whether you're tucking into a hearty breakfast or grabbing some lunch. The food's reliably good – nothing overly posh, but it's hot, tasty, and won't break the bank, which is just what you want from a pub like this. Plus, with its prime spot near the tube, it's so convenient for a quick stop-off. On the flip side, it does get absolutely buzzing, especially during their beer festivals or on busy afternoons, so if you're after a quiet corner, you might have to time your visit just right. Overall, it's a solid choice for anyone looking for good vibes and great value – I'd definitely recommend giving it a go, but maybe avoid the rush hours if you fancy a more chilled-out experience.

Cons

The food's decent but nothing to write home about – it's reliable rather than outstanding, so if you're after something fancy, you might be disappointed.
-
With so many people around, especially on weekdays, it might not always feel as peaceful as you'd hope for a relaxed evening.

A nice pub, quiet and easy to get to from the tube station. The booths were good as the TVs were easy to see so you could really relax.
Went for breakfast with my daughter today. Service was excellent, food was well prepared, tasty and hot. The pub itself was very clean. Well done
When I arrived at this Wetherspoons in the afternoon I was very surprised to see just how busy it was for a Wednesday afternoon, I'm guessing that along with good prices for drink and food at a decent standard it was also due to the 'Beer Festival' as the beers in that selection were certainly popular as I observed during a slightly longer than expected wait to be served. To be fair though it was very busy.
The Mocha Porter was fantastic and the staff and locals friendly and welcoming.
A nice clean, well kept warm and bright pub with decent bogs
Best pub in the Manor and unbeatable locally. Great choice of real Ale, and extensive food menu. Very popular and can get very busy at peak times. Well managed and run. Value for money is a given.
This pub offers a decent dining experience with a three-star rating for food; while not outstanding, the menu provides satisfying options. The service stands out with a four-star rating, showcasing attentive and friendly staff. The atmosphere is another highlight, earning a solid four stars, creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for patrons. Overall, a good choice for those prioritizing service and ambiance over culinary excellence.
