About This Pub
You know, I've got to say, Ivy House really stands out as one of those pubs where you can pop in for a casual pint or settle in for a proper meal, and it's got that warm, homely feel that's hard to beat. From what folks are saying, the food is spot on – whether you're after hearty pub classics or a curry that hits the spot, everything comes out piping hot with generous portions that won't leave you wanting. The staff are just lovely, always up for a chat and making sure you're looked after, and it's fantastic that they welcome dogs, so you can bring the whole family along. They've got regular events like quiz nights and live music, plus deals like the bottomless brunch, which could make for a cracking afternoon. On the flip side, it might get a bit snug when it's busy, so if you're after a quiet corner, you might have to time your visit right. All in all, it's a place I'd recommend for a good laugh and a bite, as long as you're up for that mix of traditional pub fun with a few modern touches – definitely worth giving it a go if you're in the area.

Cons
-
It can feel a bit cosy at times, especially if you're seated near other tables when it's busy, which might make things a tad cramped until the place thins out.
-
Some might find the menu choices overwhelming at first, but that's a minor quibble when the food turns out so well.

Went for the first time a few weeks ago and have since been back. It’s a lovely atmosphere with a nice beer garden. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. We plan to make this our regular place to eat and enjoy a good night out.
Attended with friends, was seated in the middle of two other tables initially which was odd and we felt like we were on top of each other but then pub did get busier about half hour in.
So much choice, but then when food came out it was piping hot, so tasty, and big portions.
Will definitely be returning with family
Was a lovely place to stop off on the way home, friendly staff and the food was quick and enjoyable! I loved my meal I had the spinach and ricotta cannelloni with home made chips, worth choosing those, me and my partner shared them and we horn enjoyed!
We ate here for the first time last week and the food is amazing!!! We had the three course lunch and all dishes were delicious. The staff were also really friendly. We will definitely be back again soon.
Loved our visit here. The waitress was friendly and welcoming. My boyfriend enjoyed his Tomahawk steak, it was cooked just how he asked and my lamb shank was beautifully tender. We’ll be visiting again ❤️
