About This Pub
Ah, Inside No4 in Crosby – it's one of those places that just feels right for a laid-back catch-up over a cocktail or a seasonal bite. I have to say, the atmosphere is brilliant; it's all about that upbeat, social vibe with pictures of Liverpool celebs on the walls, making it feel properly local and inviting. The outdoor seating is a real winner when the weather plays ball, and it's smashing for families too, being open seven days a week. On the food front, they've got some cracking options with fresh, modern British fare that changes with the seasons – I loved the prawns and those starters really hit the spot. Plus, knowing they're using local suppliers adds a nice touch. But, let's be honest, it's not all perfect; the menu could do with a bit more variety, as it skews towards fried bits, and I've heard a few tales of the Sunday roast being a bit underwhelming or dry. Service-wise, the staff are gems, but there have been times when waits for drinks or food stretched on, which can put a damper on things. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed evening out – just go in with realistic expectations, and you'll likely have a great time.

Cons

Amazing ambience and vibes! Good outdoor seating as well! Probably a great place for drinks cocktails and a bit of pub type food!
The menu is a bit limited in the variety! Most of the items on starters were fried!
Prawns were quite nice
Tried the Sunday roast with all meat options- was average - not many roast vegetables on there only broccoli and some cabbage. gravy tasted like the store bought one! Roast also does not come with any stuffing! Have to pay extra £5 for stuffing!
Took the family out for a birthday meal midweek. Never been here before despite living 2 minutes away! Received a nice welcome at the entrance and had a choice of where to sit. Inside, outside or in a conservatory. Chose the latter. Young lady who was serving us was very polite and friendly. We decided to go for the 2 courses for £16. Every one of us said the food we picked off the menu was absolutely delicious. There was a nice relaxing ambience and music was good too. We really enjoyed our evening out here. The manager (?) wished us a 'Happy Birthday ' when we left. We will definitely come again. Thankyou for a lovely evening inside no4!
Food was lovely. But, we were sitting for a long time waiting for starter and no drinks. Not even water was served until we had to go and ask after starter was served. Wouldn't be much good if someone choked on food or burned their mouth. But the food was very nice
This place is incredible. The food was presented perfectly and provided a taste sensation on the pallet. I went for Pork Belly main and my wife had Fish and Chips, we both opted for the Korean popcorn chicken as a starter.
The staff are very welcoming and attentive throughout which offered a pleasant experience.
We will definitely be back to our new favourite restaurant.
The main dish was dry but the starters were great and beautiful dishes. We were sat in an area with lots of lighting which got in our eyes alot - recommended to sit inside when the sun is high, otherwise very pretty place
