Booked a table on their website for happy hour at 7pm and was then told happy hour stopped at 7pm. After admitting that it was a fault on their side then refused to honour the booking.

First of all you did not offer us a free round of drinks, that is a LIE!!! Not surprised by the way we were treated when we were at your bar.
Secondly yes we did arrive later than the booking but after we had telephoned ahead and said we were running late. Who ever Answered the phone said this would be alright. As you say the happy hour lasts an hour from booking so should still have been valid at 7.50? But on the day said happy hour was from 5-7 but no where on your website does it state this and are allowed to book a 7pm slot.
Thirdly you did not remove the service charge, another LIE!!! We had to ask for it to be removed because the service was shocking and I’m glad we did by the response you’ve given!
I would advise anyone looking to go to this bar not to! Having misleading booking times on your own website then lying to make you seem like you did the right thing when you didn’t and could have done it on the night and resolved it.

From the food, service and amazing cocktails, this restaurant is a 5 star!

We had a 1 night stay at the Hux hotel and we made use of this bar. Atmosphere was great, music, singer and band were fantastic!
Hux Bar & Live Music Lounge boasts an extraordinary interior design that immediately sets the mood for a sophisticated evening. The thematic cocktails are as creative as they are delicious, perfectly complementing the ambiance. A must-visit for a unique and stylish night out.
Came here on a whim after a night at the theatre and it didn't disappoint!
Staff were friendly and attentive and the menu was eclectic and drinks were amazing!
The whole vibe is a vibe too, walking past it looks extremely bizarre in the daytime but at night it looks grand!
Would recommend!
