About This Pub
Ah, the Horse and Jockey – what a lovely little find it is! From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, this place really shines with its home-cooked grub; folks rave about the generous portions and tasty options like fajitas and BBQ chicken baguettes, which seem to hit the spot every time. The staff come across as genuinely warm and attentive, always ready with a smile and quick service, which makes popping in feel like catching up with old mates. Plus, they've got a solid lineup of real ales and craft beers that any beer enthusiast would appreciate. On the flip side, it does get packed on busier days, so you might end up queuing or squeezing in, and its location out in Bilston means it's not the most central spot if you're travelling from further afield. All in all, it's a brilliant choice for a relaxed meal or a few drinks, especially if you're after that authentic pub feel without breaking the bank – I'd say give it a go if you're in the area, as it's got that heartwarming charm that keeps people coming back.

Went as a impromptu visit after watching the football in Wolverhampton before driving home.
Although busy made room for us. Amazing food had the Fajitas, lovely service. Great pub off the beaten track. Will be coming back next season!!!
Been here several times for food and have to say that this is among the very best places to go and eat and drink in the area. Food is always excellent, beer selection is very good, the atmosphere is great too. Also the staff are friendly and provide excellent customer service. Highly recommended for a pleasant evening out, booking in advance particularly on weekends is essential.
Food was amazing went in with my family and the children portion size for the chicken wraps were really big and the kids really enjoyed them.
I had the chicken sizzler and it was really nice and again portion size was big, friendly staff and good prices all round for food. Thank you 🙂
Went here for a work Christmas do and the food was spot on. I'm lead to believe it always is too and it's not a one off. Wish it was my local! Also the cobs on the bar are huge!
We went on a lunch time and it was packed. Luckily there was an accessible table for us to avoid the steps. The staff were so lovely and the food and cocktails were so yummy. Definitely be back for the BBQ chicken baguette 😁
